Hairbands...I found the WINNER I never put the girls hair up because the always either get tangled or matted with the hairbands. Poor Ruby once had it twisted and chewed so bad it took a fine comb, scissors and 4 hours to get it out :( I tried the regular grooming bands , the ouchless version..It wasn't... and all types of supposed GOOD bands. Well folks I found THE ONE!!! Holds the hair, is tiny like the small grooming bands , and best of all NO MATTING or TANGLING. They are made by scrunchie and called mini munchies. OMG they are a DREAM. You guys that make bows should use them with the bows you make.. They are AWESOME. I got a WHOLE BIG PACK in the dollar store for $1. they stay IN very well and yet if hey get tangled or another dogs yanks on them ... they slide right out so no hair ripping. Do not confuse with the ouchless kind ..these are WAY different:thumbup: |
Who makes them? |
I love them They work great for my little ones, even though they dont stay in long. I always find them laying around the house after playtime. lol Then if they get lost they were only a dollar and the pack takes for ever to use up. Did you get the ones with the different colors and glitter on them? I even use them for my little man... |
I have the colored ones... oh crude I said they were made by scrunchie...duh... who is THAT:rolleyes: They are made by....ARGHHHHHHHHHHHH .....you all know ......they have a line of colorful bands and clips in EVERY freakin store... Is it SCUNCI :p |
Goodies??? I THINK (by your description, price, etc :p) that I might have the same kind. My only complaint is they come out TOO easily, but then, I'm sure I could put them in more tightly than I am, too. I have a puppy with short hair, and an older dog with very thin, fine hair, so yes....they're always getting wrestled out! :p |
I have some and they're great for Cheri and Chanel too. Wish they came with bows on the front though |
They are Just like the same kind i use in MY OWN Hair. With the material or whatever it is that covers the rubber band. But only the size of a regular dog band |
I just bought a pack of elastics from Claire's from their baby section - they're tiny and all differentn colours with sparkles in them. I figured if they're good for a baby's hair, then they'd be good for a puppy. I also got some adorable little heart barrettes. If you're looking for cutesy stuff, I would check out the baby accessories in accessory stores - they're small and you would think they'd be safe... |
I used these on my oldest 2 for a long time. the don't break the hair off. and so cheap! |
I bought some bows a few months ago for Lawdogbows, and didn't take my YT discount, she was so sweet she sent me extras to make up, she sent me some of the kind you are talking about..Love them...but they don't stay in long :( |
I can't wait to go look for these! I had bought the small ouchless kind, but if I didn't do it tight enough they fell out, and if I did it tight enough to stay then her hair ends up matted by the end of the day. I hope I can find these!!! |
i guess i need to go shopping but these boys don't keep anything in thier hair yet |
I am going to check this out!!! I too find that the elastic causes a big tangle!!! |
