Does anyone know of.... or have pet insurance that covers pre-exisiting conditions? I really need some in order to get Chloe spayed and her hernias fixed. I can not afford as much as they want to fix her on my own. Thanks to any info I can get! |

Nope! I doubt it exists! Pre-existing conditions or anything you had prior knowledge of is usually excluded on any kind of insurance (personal and commercial insurance alike).... It's a general rule of thumb... I'm in insurance and I've yet to see a single policy that'll cover anything you already knew about. Have you asked the vet about a payment plan? Care Credit offers financing for some vet clinics. You could check into that... |
Check your local shelter I live in KC and the Lawrence Animal Shelter used (I think they still do) to give subsidies to help people pay for spays. It's worth a shot to check with your local shelter. You have to show financial need, but it just included filling out a form and giving your annual income. Just a thought. |
I don't think there is a policy that would cover pre existing cond. |
