Carrier AND pocketbook?
 
For all the mommies out there, when you take your baby out with you shopping or what not, do you take a purse with you as well? Diamond's carrier is a lot bigger than her so that she has some extra room but I find it cumbersome to hold a bag too...any suggestions?

Maybe I should start taking wristlets with me so I just have that and the dog carrier? hah

when i take morgan out with me i don't carry my purse too. i use a smaller wallet and put it in the outside pocket of the carrier that's against my body. i also put my keys, chapstick and some change in there. leash and cheerious goes in another pocket, and poop bags in another. i have aplace for everything in my carrier. its great.

Well My carrier has a pocket that you can take a few things. You could wear a fannypack.

yeah when i got it it was a hundred dollars cheaper for some reason. i snatched it up right away. I love it so much and i'm glad i bought it. morgan loves it too. never a peep out of her when she's in it

I bring my purse with me when I go out but leave it in the car. Just grab my wallet, and cellphone and stick it in Annika's bag - also a Celtei. I love it as it is very handy and like Kellie, it is very discreet. So comfy that sometimes she does not want to stick her head out even if we are at a store that allows pets :rolleyes:

I bought a 2nd Celltei bag that was more like a purse so I could just take one bag. It works out well.

Keep an eye on Celltei's website - they often sell off previous year's models and sometimes you can get a great deal.

What size do you have & how much does Morgan weigh? It doesn't tell you what size for your dogs weight?

I have the extra small and morgan is 2 lbs currently, but it looks like it will be fine for her even when she's 4-5 lbs. there is plenty of room in it right now for her plus another puppy if i had one.

I also forgot to mention that depending where I am going I may use my puchi back-pack. It is great roomy and lots of space to put your personal stuff and you can carry a handbag if you use the bag. I love it.

Some of the Celltei carriers look so bulky, are they?

Some are. I originally bought the camo pet on the go thinking it was like a messenger bag. but when i got it it looked like i was carrying a box on my butt. it didn't sit right on me and i didn't like it at all. So i exchanged it for the tote o pet and LOL it so much. the smaller you get the less bulky it is. I usually carry a pretty good size LV bag and the tote o pet i have is only sightly wider and longer then my bag. it carries really well and i don't feel l ike i'm toting around a pet carrier.

Would it be the Speedy? I really want the LV pet carrier but it is HUGE!

ok i tried taking a picture and it just wasn't working out. i looked horrible but tried to upload it anyway. my laptop which i always use to upload pictures is out of commission right now, and my camera doesn't work with this currently computer i'm using... sorry guys

I just stick my wallet in the pocket of my carrier. I NEVER carry a purse and a carrier- thats just too much IMO. I like pockets on carriers. Some carriers even have little wristlets that hook onto the bags.

I bought my Juicy C. bag because it looks like a purse. It has an extra zippered partitioned area on the side with room for my wallet, checkbook and cell phone, so I won't have to carry more than one bag. I did not want that hassle.

I have this bag which I put Brownie in, the bottom opens up and I put my wallet, keys, phone and whatever junk I need.
