sad dog story. Ok I had to go out of town this weekend my grandmas sick. Its 9 hours away. We went to my aunts house that I havent seen in years.I remember as a child they always had tons of animals there outside sickly ect. They were alwaygetting more giving some and running some over sccidently and even shooting some that were "bad". Well outside the other night I saw tons asain 2 puppies 1 looked like a lab mix and an adorable bassit hound. a few cats and 1 tiny kitten. There was a young dog looked like a spaniel mix. these were just on the outside. went went in th doorway only not even in the actual home. I saw a young white cat looked all beat up. red eyes. Looked very sickly.Then I saw some yorkie mix with all the fur missing on its butt. It was scratching and trying to bite at it obvelisly in aganoy. I was so mad I wanted to taken them all and leave but I couldnt do anything !!! I was out of my element there amoung other tings. Now Im home and feel guilty for these little guys. The area i was at I dont think anybody would do anything anyways its just how things are done there it seems like.:thumbdown |
It's truly sad how some people dont respect and love there pet. We would be so shocked if we knew half of the neglected animals all over the world. I'm sorry you had to see this, I to remember growing up my grandparents had tons of pets all over the place and I know they were not well taken care of. It's truly truly sad! I'm just glad I'm able to give Lillie and Malahn tons of love. My pets are just like my children and I love them all! |
Oh wow and yes you can do something - you can call the Aspca who can go check out the health of the animals and IF they are not being taken care of they'll leave a citation for your aunt to get them vet care - It MAY help and no one needs to know you did this - if animals are being neglected ...someone has to speak for them !! |
I agree you have to call and report this. These animals are in pain and who knows how many more will be born into this enviroment. |

I know it's hard not knowing what to do but I would at least TRY to call someone. Even in a small town you can call the sheriff's department and they usually can tell you who to call. |
ok I found some things when I did a search I am going to look into reporting them I hate to but it might make me feel better |
