How much was your first Vet visit for your baby.......Like shots, exam and anything else that they did. Masons first visit was 82.00. Mia goes today! |
Ugh! Don't remind me....it was $200...but that included a 6 month supply of Frontline and Interceptor. It would have been under $100 if I hadn't bought that stuff. :D Hope Mia gets a clean bill of health! Keep us updated! |

Mine was about a $100. |
mine was about $200 too because i got a years supply of interceptor and 6 months frontline, plus morgan had worms so we needed two meds for the two different worms.... but it was worth it. she's all better and now has a year supply of meds i won't have to buy again :) |
$37.00...shot's and heartworm..... |
$250, but that was the puppy package I bought that included ALL her shots/fecal exams/etc plus 6 months of interceptor, 1 month of advantage, and a bag of ekanuba :D |
the $82.00 was a exam, shots, worming and vial of front line. |
Gosh, can't even remember . . . but I know my VET is pretty inexpensive. I am sure MIA will get a clean bill of health    |
It was about $150 -- shots and stool sample. My vet is awesome. |
I just took my Nyx for her first vet visit on July 13th. Here is the itemized bill Annual Wellness Package-1 Vaccination (Rabies) $50.00 Deworming- $18.00 Fecal Direct Smear- $23.00 Hematocrit- $15.00 Microchip & Implanation- $50.00 Grand Total- $156.00 The reason it wasn't more was because Nyx received nearly all of her shots before she came home. Next month I have to return to the Vet for more shots and whatever else he does I just got my VPI and it doesn't go into affect until the 25th so I won't be reimbursed for her first vet visit. |
Vet visit Mine was $20, that was for a puppy shot and they gave me a free heartworm pill with rebate form and nice little folder to keep all my records in. Sheesh, I guess I'm glad I live in a small town. However, when I got my puppy at three months she'd already been wormed and had two other puppy shots. |
I called to see how much Nurical is at the vet..im going there later....its 9.00? Is that high or is that normal. I got my nutrical with Mason when I got him so I didnt know how much it cost! |
Stedman's First Dr. Visit :) My very first visit with Stedman was $55. He got all of his shots and a heartworm pill. However, the heartworm pill was free as they give it to you in a Puppy Pack which is complimentary. Actually, the 3 times I have taken him to the vet for his shots (all 3 sets) they have given him a free heartworm pill + rebate each and every time. They are so wonderful up there! He has the BEST vet ever!!! :D They didn't make my buy the 6 month supply until the very LAST time I took him in to get his last set of shots, and even then they gave him a free heartworm pill (so I just now bought the 6 month supply starting for next month, in August). Oh I also forgot. Actually his first visit was $80, but thats only because I bought him a $25 dollar bottle of DermaPet, I love that stuff!!! :D Otherwise, for his shots alone, it was $55 :) |

Our first vet visit was about 50 bucks, and has been about the same each time we took her. |
The first visit was $45! That included shots and deworming. They give a complimentary dose of frontline and heartguard! |
Boy - that can vary a lot. A "well puppy check" isn't a lot - but you may want a more thorough exam - or there may be something the vet wants to check out just a little more. Plus some vets just do more than others do....and charge accordingly. And shots -- some puppies go in needing shots - others may not need any shot for several more weeks. Hard to compare!!!! I think my first visit was about $85 - maybe a little more. My pup didn't need any shots that day and he had no apparent problems. Plus I am a regular at my vet's office (for shots and any serious problems that arise) - so he knew that I wouldn't hesitate to return if I had any problems at home. All I know is that my puppy's heart was fine, his knees were great, and his testicles had already descended. He weighed in well (a fat little guy), and I could attest to the fact that he had a healthy appetite. He was playful, happy, and affectionate. He checked his mouth, ears, rectum, etc. -- but there just didn't appear to be any problems whatsoever. So - we got an A-okay and got to go home. Good luck! Carol Jean |
:animal-pa Dixie's 1st vet visit was 120, shots, nutrical, and i bought cans of the puppy food they had there since she hadnt eaten much in 24 hours...vet said she was healthy, and adorable and probobly just needed to get use to being here and not with her mom and litter mates.... she ate the canned food mixed with her royal canin and was fine :) |
Mias visit yesterday was only 27.00. $15 for the shots and $8 for some nutrical and 3.30 for an interceptor pill . She gave her a free exam.:D |
Mine are about $250.oo to $350.00 |
Gia's visit was $37.00, but the next day we had to take a poop sample to test for worms that was $15.00. Then I had to end up taking her back the next week for constipation & an enema that visit was $55.00. She goes for her second set of shots Friday only time will tell how much those are ??????? |
Spencer's first visit was around $55....my vet also gives the free heartworm pill & sample of frontline....along with a puppy pack with 5 lb. bag of Science Diet puppy food. I think she's awesome & very reasonable! |
