Favorite treats What is your yorkies most favorite treats!! macy loves cheese and will do anything for it. |

Oliver loves snowpeas and carrots, apple and watermelon on occasion. His favorite chew bone is the hartz mini rawhide bones. I've tried so many things like milkbones, peanutbutter cookie treats, and a variety of other treats, but he's fussy! lol! One time, I had sooo many different things in the closet for him, and he just wouldn't touch them. I ended up give them all away to my sister for her 2 pups. :D |
Kona loves cheerios. She gets very excited when I pull that big yellow box out of the cabinet. |
I haven't found anything that Ziggy doesn't like.:p We're trying not to let him have people food but right now his favorite is a piece of apple or cantaloupe. And he will kill for a bite of cheese! :eek: |
Lola loves Beggin Strips and the MilkBone treats with the center filling. But her favorite is Kraft Deli American Cheese. Bear loves CHEESE, CHEESE, CHEESE and anything else in the world that you offer him, LOL!!! |
Mitzi's favorits were Beggin Strips but since she has this corn allergy she can't have them anymore. It breaks my heart when she watches me opening the 'treat cabinet' and out come Puperoni and not Beggin Strips. She looks soooo sad then and takes the Puperoni with a sigh deeep out of her little Yorkie heart. Also with the Beggin Strips in her mouth she loved to parade around and show her treat off. We had to cheer her on and tell her what an amazingly smart dog she is. She doesn't do that with the new ones :( . But well, everything for her health! :aimeeyork |

honey nut cheerios When Bogey was little,( 2 lb.) I gave him half a honey nut cheerio for a treat every time he peed on the paper( he had to sit before he got it). He loved it. It worked. He now gets a whole cheerio when he goes (which is mostly outside at 7 mths old) and sits for everything.:D |

Chester loves cheese, cheerios, and solid gold turkey jerkey treats, they are great no corn, wheat and lwo fat. His new thing is the bones from zukes z- ridge bones better than greenies. |

Baby loves cheese, raw broccoli, cheese flavored pup corn, jerky treats, puperoni, bully sticks, raw hide chew, old mother hubbard cookie biscuits, milk bones, snausages, and just about everything I offer her!! |
Jazzie likes almost everything so it's easier to list the stuff she does't like! 1. Olives 2. Leafy vegetable (ie: lettuce, spinich, etc.) I think that's it. Ofcourse there are things she loves but absolutely can not have :D |
Snickers and Baxter are both crazy for chicken. They do their little yorkie dance as soon as they smell it, it's so cute. They also love the basted milk bones, Pampered Pet Treats (from Drs. Foster & Smith), and chicken-flavored dingo bones. |
My pooches' favourite used to be ham and chicken luncheon - do you have luncheon in the states? But now their favourite is ziwipeak treats they go berko for them! http://www.ziwipeak.com/ They're a new zealand made thing with all natural ingredients blah blah blah - I don't know much about that but I know that Dixie and Dougal just LUV em. |
Sophie loves Frosty Paws Icecream but she only gets that occasionally. She love love loves Snausages. She has to have one first thing every morning. That is a weird time to me but I let her have it because she doesn't ask for anymore the rest of the day.:animal36 |
Last night Schatzi got her first taste of salmon, she went bezerk over it! I didn't actually feed it to her, I gave it to our Lab, Foster. She smelled it and ended up alongside him, eating all the fish (and potatoes, too) so much so that she was IN the bowl, and Foster got kicked out:p He stood there patiently, though, until she was finished, but it was funny... The other things Schatzi has tried and LOVED, is watermelon, cream cheese, and turkey.. and just yesterday she discovered foster's rawhide, and ran off with it- she must have sat there, chewing on it for over an hour, but don't worry, I was watching her- she just loved it, though...:aimeeyork |
okay can you guys give me a list of what is safe to feed as treats aside from the store bought puppy treats. cheese? i never would have thought that, so i twon't hurt them? my rottweiler loves hotdogs. |

Favorite Treats Windsor and ZsaZsa absolutely love the Yorkie Yummies (liver treats) that Cindy sent with their Silk Harnesses. I think the vanilla ice cream my son shared with them last night is a close second though. (off his spoon that he was still using....that's my boy) Carol |
Stedman LOVES his treats! :) Stedman LOVES Milk Bone's Chewy Treats. He loves the Chicken Drumstix, and the Filet Mignon flavors. I break them up into little pieces for him and he GOBBLES them down like no tomorrow! :D He also loves The Beef and Cheese flavor "Snausages In a Blanket" (I have no idea what brand they are...I get them at Wal-Mart). Oh and also the Canine Carry Outs Beef Flavor. No telling what else there is...I keep a grocery bag FULL of treats, and there are all different kinds in the bag! lol. All the treats I give him are the chewy kind...he just doesn't like the "hard" dog treats. I guess they remind him too much of his every day dog food lol :p |
