Angel Pooed on Top of her Blanket on Her Bed! I wasn't home most of the day yesterday, and my parents watched Angel for me. When I got back around 10 p.m. with TCC, Angel was in her pen. We fed her a late night snack of rice b/w 10:30-11:00 p.m., gave her some attention and then put her to bed. Well, I was up 'til past 3 a.m. and I think Angel knew. Around 3 a.m., I heard her whining/barking. I went into her room, and I saw she had pooed mostly on her blanket but also on the tarp instead of the pad. After I washed her bum and cleaned the mess, I put her back in her pen w/o a blanket. She then started whining/barking all night so we didn't get much sleep. I thought dogs didn't like to go potty where they sleep? Do you think she was upset with me for not being home and giving her a lot of attention? |
I'll bet she was a little upset...they don't like change. I'm sure she'll be fine...Angel just missed her mommy. :) |
Could very well be!!!!!!!!!! She probably missed you and wanted more attention from you!!!!! |
My Mercedes, as pretty as she is, is a pig. She is the only one I have that will still mess in her pen. She will even poop and then break it up into pieces and place it in her pen....and LAY ON IT!!!!! So hopefully yours was mad at you and didn't just start a bad habit:eek: |
I hope that's all it was. She was ok on Sun. and this morning. She went on the pad. Thank goodness Angel didn't lay in her poo. She just stood at the front of the pen whining/barking. How old is Mercedes? I'm sorry to hear that she makes a mess. Have you tried feeding her pineapple? It's supposed to make her stool taste awful. |
2 Attachment(s) She just turned a year old. She doesn't eat it...just moves it onto her bed sometimes. She is just like that. Will go out to pee, come in and if she feels like peeing 5 minutes later, she just squat on the floor and go about playing again. She is so darned sweet though that it is hard to get mad at her. Here is a picture of her.... |
Lol, she was on strike because you left her. ;) |
