So much attention? I just have to ask you all if your furbabys are anything like mine. Do your little ones (or big ones ;)) constantly have to be the center of attention? I swear, Stedman thinks that he is the star of the show! (well...he pretty much is, lol) and he has to be with me CONSTANTLY! He LOVES every bit of attention that he can possibly get. If I walk from the kitchen to the living room, he's right there...if I walk from my bedroom to the bathroom...he's right there! He is like my 24/7 shadow! lol. As a matter of fact, every single time I get on the computer he prances right over to my chair, sits down on the floor, looks directly at me and BARKS until I pick his spoiled little butt up. Then, and only then, does he crawl from my lap ontop the keyboard so that I cannot type lol. And not to give out too much information here, but even when I am in the bathroom trying to pee he sits there looking at me, barking. He wants me to hold him then too!! OMG!! He just CRAVES attention and has to be with me 24/7. He is SUCH a little momma's boy! lol. SIGH.....what a spoiled little turd. I don't know what I'm going to do with him :p  |

I say, love him, kiss him, hug him and then do it all again!!! Sissy likes to be with me, too. Though many times she will curl up in her bed beside my computer chair and be content there. But if I get up and walk to another room, she will follow me. |
Mya is an attention hog but will go off and hang around our other dog. She expects company to lover her up and play with her. She shoves toys at everyone for hours. We have tried to teach her to stay out of the kitchen and bathroom. I worry about hot food falling on her in the kitchen and we like privacy in the bathroom. So do our guests ! |
lexi is like that too, but thank god now she is really getting to love my b/f which is a good thing, shes not always up my butt... its so cute cause the days i dont see him, she constantly looking for him out the window to see if she hears his car.... i think i need another baby... |
Zoey only craves attention from me when her dady isn't here. She'll whine for me to carry her wherever I go. As soon as he comes home and calls her name, she dashes to meet him. I'm happy she's just as spoiled by him, as she is by me.:D |
Teddy is like that with me, everywhere I go he's there and sometimes nippin' at my feet...I almost fall over him...He's wanting me to play. Now Tiffanie was the same way but with my Husband and then when she got pregnant she was with me all the time...Now she is back to him...It's funny how they change. But I love them all. Their puppies is all over me all the time (All 4) and when I say give Mama kisses there they all come runnin', if they are in their crate then they all line up @ the door and I go down through it giving and getting puppy kisses...It's so sweet to know they love us this much...But can get bad at times. When I go potty, it's either a dog or a kid there with me! LOL! Hugs, Lee |
My two have each other. Chachi will come whe he is won out, and want to be picked up, but for the most part they just play with each other, and then sleep. Like right now they are playing hide and seek. |
My pup isn't like that. He is a real laid back little guy, a little shy, and somewhat independent. He is with me a lot of the time, but loves to spend time around the house doing things on his own. He does bother me some when I am on the computer. And, often I just let him lie on the desk beside me while I work. He'll often take a nap on the desk beside me. I do a lot of work at home as a medical transcriptionist -- and, I just couldn't have a little dog that constantly bothering me, wanting to be held, and wanting to climb all over the keyboard. When I work, I sometimes take a break and take him outside for a minute or feed him or just play with him and pet him for a while. **** Like a lot of people, if I couldn't get my work done - I couldn't buy him food or pay his rent. So - thank goodness - he isn't that demanding. It would be a real problem - for me! Carol Jean |
My yorkie doesnt crave THAT much attention...but my boxer does, even when I'm in the bathroom too, lol. If I'm in the shower, he waits outside the bathroom door for me, I've tripped over him numerous times. My yorkie gets into playing (and humping) his toys though so he kinda forgets about everything else. Of course though, when I'm doing homework or something, then he wants to play w/ me and barks nonstop! |
Uh oh :) lol Ok, well I am beginning to think that maybe I made my little guy sound worse than he actually is lol. He absolutely LOVES attention, but he DOES do things on his own as well. He will play with his toys on his own (and the cat...and the Dachsund, lol), and he will take naps on his own on his bed, but he REALLY DOES love and crave his mommy and daddy's attention lol. But like alot of others have said, as soon as daddy gets home from work and walks through the door, he RUNS and jumps up on him until he picks him up and then he gives him BIG kisses :D I say he's a mamma's boy...but then again he is soooo a daddy's boy, lol. I don't know, he just loves to be loved :bighug: He can also be very independent though. He is my sweetheart :angelyork |
that's what a called my Ginger (yorkie) and Lacey (Maltese) - "my shadow":) |
