She pee'd on our bed :-( It is my fault for not waking up so I take full responsibility sice she is only 9.5 weeks old. But how the heck do I clean a fancy duvet cover? I can't put it in the washer I don't think, do I take it to the dry cleaners, spray febreeze on it, what? Help, I don't want it smelling like pee! Thank you. |
Dry cleaners. I take everything Mia pees on to the dry cleaners, if possible of course. Throws, picnic blankets, sheets... Ha! I wish I could take the back seat of my car  |
Benji likes peeing on our comforter. He has done it three times and every time I take it to the dry cleaners. It is a down comforter and my boyfriend tried washing it the first time, needless to say, that did not work. It's funny too because Benji never goes potty anywhere else except outside and on his pee pee pad. |

As of the comforter I would probably try to use a white vinegar solution for the stain and then clear water and when dry febreze spray. Good luck! :aimeeyork |
I am a deep sleeper so every time Murphy has gone pee on our duvet cover I knw it is becasue I have not woken up. Our fault - but yes I have taken it too the dry cleaners - every time. I am hopeful as he gets older he will be able to hold it longer - heres to hoping!!! :) |
The dry cleaners have become our best friend, thanks to my 12 week old Poodle. |
i go to the laudromat and use the giant washers for my duvets. and febreeze is awesome. |
Drycleaners I had to take one that Georgie pee peed on there and it looked great after;) |
Sadie has done that in the past and I've just taken my comforter to the laundry mat to wash in the big washer machines. But don't forget to spray something on it as well. I've tried febreeze and the dog carpet stain remover sprays. The reason I say you should spray something over it, is because if your puppy smells it on another day you sleep in, she/he might think its ok to go potty there. You don't want her to think its her potty pad. |
Lollabella - you actually take sheets to the dry cleaners??? Not me - I wash everything I possibly can. --------------------- Carol Jean |

And, good for you! |
I took our good spread off & put on one I could wash. Good thing, Piper couldn't wake us up so you can image. She does try, so I couldn't say anything. My FAULT |
You can put a kitten collar with a bell on your puppies so when they wake up you can hear the bell jingle and rush them out to pee. I did that with my two yorkies till they were old enough to be able to hold it through the night. It worked wonders. :) |
