Hello, YT newbie here from the Northwest!
 

Thought I would say "Hello" - I'm new to YT! :)

My name is Marie. I live in south Washington (state) about 15 minutes from Portland, Oregon.

My mom and I (I should mention that I'm seventeen years old) have been looking to find a Yorkie to join our family! We have always loved Yorkies, I've heard wonderful things about them... I can't wait to finally get our own Yorkie baby to love.

We have two other animals, a nice cat, and a little beagle named Shelbie. We love our animals dearly...

This will be my baby (though I'm sure mom will give the pup PLENTY of love -- who can resist a Yorkie?), since the other two animals are more of my mom's animals. We probably won't adopt a pup for some more months (we're saving up money for a reputable breeder - we want to ensure that our future Yorkie will be in good health and come from good surroundings! - We'd much rather pay more for a healthy puppy than pay less for one from a bad environment -- we've been looking at Yorkie Passion website and they seem like happy well cared for pups :) - and local, too!) and I can barely wait! Already I'm looking at puppy supplies for our future little one... geez, already spoiling a dog that doesn't exist yet! :)

Anyway, wanted to say hello! This is a wonderful community.

Hi Marie and welcome to YT. You sound very mature and responsible for being 17 years old. I hope you find the perfect Yorkie baby. You will love it on YT and you will love your little Yorkie-to-be like nothing else!!!

I too am in WA, Seattle area. I will PM you with a lead on Yorkie puppies.

Welcome to YT....you are lucky enough to live close to one of the best breeders I know. Kimberly King (feminvstr) is in Portland....her site is www.yorkiepassion.com and I know she's got a litter due shortly....it's worth getting on her waiting list...I speak from personal experience since I'm lucky enough to have one of her pups.

you came to the right plave! this is a true yorkie family! so please make your self at home, I sure hope you find your baby real soon, I know how you feel about wanting one, when I first started looking for my girl I thought I would never find her, but believe me, there out there, just dont give up, unfortunatly she has went to heaven a little over a month ago so now I have baby Lillie who is mending my heart, she is almost 4 months old and so sweet.
