Golden yorkie pup! 2 Attachment(s) I was looking for a female yorkie for my mother via the internet. I was looking at the Atlanta Jorunal and Constitution's web site. I came across this little girl and she is really odd looking.:eek: The ad is in the Pure Breed Category. Tell me what you guys think of her. She is only 13 weeks old. Thanks And they have the audacity to ask for $1600 for her. I don't see what makes her so special. Actually she doesn't really look like a yorkie to me, thats why I came to the experts!!!:D |

Aww she's really pretty to me. There is someone on her that has a gorgeous blonde yorkie. She looks like a yorkie to me, but I am hardly an expert! She looks like a sweetie pie. :) |
The all blonde yorkies are rare thats why they are asking so much. I think they are adorable. I would love to have one. Julz has 2 and they are the cutest ones i have ever seen |
I guess you could call blondes and chocolates rare since there are not that many of them, but they are not the true meaning of rare. We could easily breed chocolates and blondes, but since they are considered a fault, yorkie breeders do not want to breed them. Her coat doesn't look that great to me and, at least in the picture, she looks very large, but pics can be misleading. |
:p I'm no expert either, but she does look like a yorkie from the picture. And, what a cutie! Her color is beautiful. I know the price sounds like alot, but just from reading some yt posts, some people spent more than that for their furbabies. If she truly is a yorkie with that great coloring, I'd go for it. Keep us posted, whatever you decide. |

Hmmmm...I'm a lover of the standard colors.... but Julz does have pretty pretty blonds... IF you didn't say she was a yorkie.... In the 2nd picture - I may not have known what breed she is...not because of the color (well that too) but the face. She doesn't have that Yorkie look about her - When Julz's puppies were born blond/red - you can really tell they're yorkies |
I am no expert either, but doesn't her face look like it has some Westie in it? Of course, they are a terrier also, so who knows. She is cutie none-the-less |

Well "Personally" I don't think she is ugly by any means.:D I just wanted to make that clear because I don't want to hurt ANYBODY's feelings, but I don't see why my mother is about to have a fit to get to Atlanta to see her.:eek: I had never saw a fully blond yorkie and I didn't want her to be scammed into paying $1600 for a yorkie that is different but different for the wrong reasons. I didn't know if she was a mix or if it was a defect of some sort. I don't know, I will definitely keep you guys posted as to what my mom decides.:thumbup: |
