I'm in trouble!
 
I have been spending so much time on Yorkie Talk no one can get me on the phone! I guess I need the service where you can use the phone and computer at the same time..I have had two friends come by the house this morning telling me to get off the computer..LOL

Hi Pat! Thats too funny, they had to physically come over to tell you! :) I have cable internet here so I chat on the phone at the same time! :-P

I moved to Florida to enjoy the weather..if I get cable internet I will never leave the house again! LOL...the beach is calling me.

Get wireless internet like me and then you can go to the beach with your laptop!!! How funny is that?! Plus, I have the TREO 650 Palm Pilot phone and I can surf with that wherever I am waiting in line, in the waiting room at he doctor's office or whatever!!

The best of all worlds....dog beach in Del Mar with the laptop sipping a cocktail and eating pupus from Jakes on the beach!!

I really DO have a full life and I pack it all in!! Technology allows me to work or NOT WORK anywhere! It's great!

You could always suggest to them christmas, birthday, any day gift one of those pay per use cell phones. Let them buy your time with you. lol. when i had dial up service if they didn't know to call my cell phone when my home line was busy then i didn't need to talk to them. I also had some very upset people. (mother-in-law). (like i said if they didn't have enough in the head to call my cell, then i didn't need to talk to them). LOL

LDenise: Yeah...what was the mil thinkin'? Just call the cell phone! I had to get two cells so I could turn the business one off to have family time in the evenings. It works great!

Yes, dsl works great, but then I don't answer the phone when I am on the YT.....

The other day, while I was *supposed* to be working...I was on YT...and my editor happened to walk past my desk before I could minimize the screen, and he said in a biting, scarcastic voice, YORKIE talk?. He can be a jerk sometimes.

I swear — I am one of the only NON-SMOKERS here in the newsroom. The smokers take a smoke-break for 10 minutes every 20 minutes (really!!!) So I have no problem with taking my "non-smoking breaks" here on YorkieTalk.

If they get so many "breaks", so do I! I mean, it's only fair!

That is hilarious !!! Well I am one of "those" smokers but yes, I agree with you, you deserve your Yorkie Talk breaks just as much as those darn smokers.
I can just picture you minimizing your screen and you got caught doing so, hahahahaha Tell your boss to get a Yorkie, quit smoking, get on Yorkie talk with a break, and then maybe he can relate to you somewhat better, LOL!!
