Reasons why my yorkies make me happy
 

my yorkies crack me up :-D I am bored and thought I would just type a list of why my yorkies make my day and see what everyone else has to say about why they're yorkies make their day :)

1.) I can't help but smile when I wake up in the morning and look at the end of my bed and see my two yorkies staring right up at me with their ears up and their big brown eyes staring at me...even when it's 6am and I wake up to see Bubba standing on my chest staring me down :mad: or when I wake up at 5am because he is sitting on the pillow I am sleeping on with his head in between the blinds growling at birds...kind of annoying but cute nonetheless! :p

2.) When Bubba gets all wound up. He runs through the house so unbelievably fast and you can't get him to stop lol

3.) When they try and talk to you. At dinner time I'll go "tykie and bubba ready to eat? are my boys hungry? you want food?" and they start making funny little growling sounds like they are trying to actually talk to you

4.) Bubba thinks my hand is a critter when I stick it underneath the covers and make it move. He goes NUTS! He will growl and bark and dart after my hand and then will dig trying to get underneath the covers to the "Critter" aka my hand

5.) When I am walking my dogs and people stop to say how cute they are. There is a police officer around here that drives around when I am usually walking them and he always stops to give them treats and talk to them. Now when they see a police car they get all excited :p It's got to the point where if I'm driving and there is a police car in the lane next to me they'll jump onto my lap and start whining and barking because they think it's him with a treat :p

6.) When they are sleepy...nothing beats seeing them curled up together just sleeping.

7.) When Bubba barks at his reflection :p

8.) When I am upset about something and both of them come running to me and give me their sweet puppy kisses and stay by me :)

9.) It's weird...but when my blood sugar gets low they can tell when I'm not feeling well and will not leave my side. One time I got really low and one of them knew something was wrong and ran to my mom and was crying and barking and was acting wild. My mom followed him to the couch where I had eventually passed out :eek: It was really weird and funny how they got worried and could tell something was up. It's amazing. When I get low I get really shaky, pale, sweaty, disoriented and worse as it goes on and they can tell and it never ceases to amaze me...ever :eek:

10.) When I am driving in the car with them and the people next to me look over and see them and laugh and smile and point them out to everyone in their car. Makes me a proud puppy parent :D

What are you reasons your yorkie(s) make you happy?

1. Sissy makes me happy just by being her.
2. I love when she takes all her toys out and plays with every one.
3. She is just so darn cute, you can't be unhappy when you look at her.
4. I love all her little puppy kisses.
5. I love how she curls up on my lap for hours.
6. I love when she sleeps curled next to me in bed.

10 reasons why I love Holly:

10. I luv how she will stand next to my treadmill and watch me run/walk.
9. I luv how she sits on my lap when im on the computer.
8. I luv how when she goes pee-pee outside she comes running in and looks at the treat cabinet
7. I luv how she snuggles almost under you why in bed.
6. I luv the little noises she makes when I come home from work, shopping, etc.
5. I luv how when she gets a treat she runs into another room and hides it.
4. I luv how if you are not paying att. to her she sits and paws at your leg.
3. I luv the way she plays with her favorite toy--the carrot.
2. I luv how she knows when in her carrier she stays very quiet.

I love it when my dog "smiles" at us. I swear! Whenever we come home or pick him up from the groomer, he lifts his top lip and looks like he is trying to smile. It is sooo cute.
I also love Yorkie kisses, when he snuggles up to me at night, and how sweet and gentle he is when he takes treats from us!
