do you favour your babies? Talking to my cousin today,got me thinking. She said to me ' Which one of your babies is your favourite?' I said I dont have a favourite. She said 'of course you do, everyone always has a favourite, even though they don't like to admit it'. So my question is, do any of you favour your babies? I dont have a favourite as a whole round dog, just favourites for different things, based upon behaviour Duke- favourite for going walkies with Duchess- favourite for cuddling Mitzi-mae- favourite for grooming Rocky- favourite for playing with Gypsy-Rose- favourite to take out into town etc But I love them all equally as a whole round dog, if that makes sense?:confused: :rolleyes: |
I don't think I have a favorite. Chachi is more cuddly Ollie is cuter They are both funny It's like with my children, I like different things about each of them, but I love them all equally. |
I have to admit, that right now Bailey is my favorite...simply cause we have spent a lot more time together. But there is something about Tia.. this kid has spunk which really interreges me!!!! |

I have one yorkie now, but i am 100% sure, that if a"ll have 2 or more, i will have one favorite. The one that cuddly and love me more :) because this is very important qualities for me. |
well considering I have only tigger as the only dog and two fish I've got to say tigger, but I know when I get my new baby he'll be the apple of my eye. Tiggers so cute and cuddley and bossy. |
Georgie is my only Yorkie but we have a Boxer that I love too, and if they had Boxertalk my time would be split:D One of the biggest reasons I love Coco so much is because she is awesome with Georgie:D However I loved her when Georgie wasn't here yet. They are both amazing dogs, and each have their own unique qualities. |

Well there are so many of us in our household that pretty much each pet has chosen their favorite so instead of saying which one is my fav iwill have to say which one is their fav lol Lucy my cocker...me hands down..she doesn't ever leave my side... Jersey..my daughter Jessica..if jess goes anywhere she pouts til she comes home lol.. Comet...she loves us all..but favors me and Jess..jess more..i'm more like mama to her and jess is more like her best friend Dante..he just loves everybody..whoever is around at that moment is his fav..but he does seem to flirt with my sons gf lol.. Bubbers...he is another one that loves everyone..and doesn't seem to have a fav..lol..them boys just can't make up their minds lol |

erm...well. uh. I love them both equally. but (don't hate me for saying this) I like spending time with Rusty a little more than I do with Tucker. Tuck is a wild man, and always on the go. but Rusty is so laid back and is just a gentleman....so if I'm ever kind of tired or sad or whatever, I usually go to Rusty and hang out with him for a while. and I baisically grew up with him...we're really close. while Tucker would rather spend time with my mom, Rusty would rather spend time with me. BUT of course I love playing with Tucker too. he has that puppy energy that Rusty doesn't have anymore. and he's just a sweety! I love them both equally. :love: |
Baileysmom..then you'll be crazy like me lol..I have always said..i can't wait til the day comes when I can go to the bathroom by myself..well I see right now that will never happen..cause lucy doesn't let me go by myself and I don't see her changing on that..my 3 year old will grow out of that and someday my girls will grow up and be off to college then their own homes..and so they won't be buggin me when i'm in the tub ..but lucy..i have a feeling she will never stop lol |
I love all my furbabies so much, but they all have such different personalities. Lucky- my rescues chow-mix is over 16 years old and I think she knew I rescued her, she has been the best dog and never ran away when I kept bring home an other yorkie lol Maddie - is my oldest yorkie and best behaved and lets the other three do what ever and just sits back Rudy - is a little toot, he is the least behaved out of the bunch, a door opens and he is out. Anywere I am he is I get up in the night to got to the bathroom he is there with me, he is very loyal Polly - is the most attached to me, she isn't very social with people, but loves her furfamily. She loves to be held and she is the smallest, but she rules. Sprout - is the independent one in the group. He makes the group complete, he loves to be held like a baby and have the pad of his foot rubbed. They each have a piece of my heart and make my life great, don't know what I would do without any of my furbabies. |
I will admit it hands down Ted's my favorite. I don't love Toby any less but he's much more social and independent than Ted. Teddy just acts like he needs me more and I definitely play into that. |
Out of Emilee, Joey, Gidget and Izzie, my Yorkies, Joey is definitely my baby. He'll be 2 on 7/5/06. He is just so sweet, lays his head on my shoulder and I just can't explain all the loving moves he does. Everyone knows he loves me the most too. He had an hypolgemia problem when we first got him as a baby so I've babied him something terrible. Next would probably be a tie between Gidget and Izzie. Then we have Emilee, I love all my dogs, but Emilee would be my least favorite. Now Penny my Golden Retriever is in a class all by herself. Of all the large breed dogs I've had in my lifetime, she is the best all around dog you could ask for. I love them all!! |

It's so funny you started this thread. People always ask me who is my favorite and really, I LOVE them both so much! Simon is my baby since I've watched him grow up from a puppy but Hallie is the more affectionate of the 2. And I agree, they both have their qualities that I adore. Simon likes to go for walks, Hallie hates leaving the house (she's too much of a princess to get hot and dirty). Hallie loves to be bathed, Simon fights it. Oh geez, I don't have a favorite. But I know that I am their favorite person ever :) |

It completely depends on the day. Yesterday Tank and I spent the afternoon together (I took him to be groomed) and heas definitly my fav then, but Buckeye is usually better behaved and gets to be my favorite alot:) |
Thanks everyone, im going to show this thread to my cousin! as the general sensus seems to be that most people have favourite qualities in their babies :) I guess the way my cousin will only understand is if she gets a few babies for herself! ;) :D |
