When I decided to buy a yorkie well over 3 years ago, I looked everywhere! I wanted to find a good breeder..not that I was looking for show quality, I was looking for a breeder that had healthy puppies. I did A LOT |
I paid $700 for Zoey, and she's my 7 pound bundle of joy! I wouldn't chabge anything about her..except when she steals my socks :D |
Yes, it is a lot of money for a little fuzzy friends. But God willing, I will have my girls for many many years to come and when you figure all the enjoyment you get from them I think it is totally worth it and would do it again in a heartbeat:D :p :D It's not very much at all when you average it over say.... 15 years or so;) |
I paid $600 for Chachi and $1200 for Jewels. I would pay more the next time to get a pup from an ethical breeder. |

Just don't quit quitting!!! It took me a lot of tries before it stuck and even now, I still get tempted under stress. But when I decided to do something nice for me with the money I would be saving (Bailey and Tia), it helps keep me motivated to stay off the darn things. Best of luck and I know that you can do it!!!!!! Quote:

location and supply and demand. Here in San Diego, we paid $1500 for a toy sized girl and everyone at the local yorkie meet said I got a great deal. Got to see the parents, whom were locals. They typically run 2500, especially the so called small ones and teddy bear looking ones. I think it's cheaper in the east coast. Supposedly it also helps cover delivery/vet fees |
