Babysitting a Teacup Yorkie Wow.....What a difference size makes! I'm Baby sitting a 3 lb. 5 year old female Yorkie, right now it's only for the next hour. My 10 week old 3.5 lb. female is trying to play with her while she's yelping, growling and nipping at her. Abigail being a puppy has no clue why she's doing this. She has not been "Socialized" with other dogs and being so small she is very intimidated by my male @ 8 lbs. he's a giant compared to her. She just wants to be held and cuddled, she's sitting on my lap as I'm typing this. My 2 other Yorkies are so excited to see/play with her! We all go "Trail walking" on the weekends or the Dog Park. I give you all credit especially those of you with a 3 lb. or smaller Baby. It's a lot of work! |
Forgot to Mention Forgot to mention she is now being vicious and she is not "House Trained" either....great she's marking on my Oriental area rugs. 3 is definitly too many at one time! I'm going to have to seperate them soon! I can't deal with all the excitement and yapping! :( |
Having a tiny yorkie around can be very intimidating if you arent used to them..lol,but I assure you that they arent hard work at all:) I have one of both.Lady is 2lbīs (17 months old) and Jess is 7lbīs (1year) and I assure you that Jess is the one that keeps me on my toes..lol.Lady is very calm, quiet, and sweet but she has potty issues too..it must be a "tiny" thing..lol.Last summer we asked my mother in law to come and check on Lady and Jess because we spent the night out and she didnt like the responsability of such a tiny dog either..I was like "what? whats the difference between her and Jess?",I guess I dont realise because Im used to it,but when people visit they dont feel comfortable around Lady either..its funny:confused: |
 You're much braver than I ... that's exactly why we only have Toto!! ;) |
Like I said before anyone that can handle two has my deepest respect. I can't bow to two masters and this 3 pound tyrant keeps me on my toes. |
