Do you know if Frontline plus or Intercepter is safe to use on dogs under 5lbs?thx

Ask your vet, when I took Rocky to the vet she gave me certain meds for him since he's tiny, I can't remember what for though.

my vet had me get K9 advantix and its worked fine for Kizzy. But she isnt outside a lot anymore since we put the gates up over the openings off the deck. only when I take her out to potty and for walks.

yup its pefectly safe. the interceptor comes in a 1-10lb size so its fine for dogs and puppies in that range. As for the frontline, since its for dogs up to 22 or 25 pounds you can split the tube up among your other yorkies if you have them, or just give your dog a quarter of it at a time. you can tape it closed and use it again next month.

Bo is on Interceptor and it is only for heart worm prevention and for intestional worms it isnt used for flee or tick prevention....i am glad you got the tick off your baby...we live in the country so we see this stuff all the time (not on Bo) because he dont go outside but the girls get them and so does my hubby he is outdoors alot...and we use tweezers also and it has worked so far lol.

Just the botton of the fork up and around to lasso the tick betwen the prongs and keep sliding. the tick gets wedged in the prongs and the base of the prongs scoops the tick out. make sure the bottom side of the fork is against the skin...kinda like scooping the tick out... I do this ALOT and it works most of the time pretty easy

Eeeek! What a good idea, but kinda hope you keep that fork seperate from the others :)
