OK.. who has little diggers???? 3 Attachment(s) I have a new pup that sure loves to dig.. Here is Libby with her bone getting ready to bury it. All you can see is her little butt up in the air and another pic of Libby and Izzy at the pool. Libby is going to be a bigger Yorkie she is 15 weeks old weight 4.11 lbs  and Izzy is 14 months weight 4.5lbs..:) .. Izzy might be small but she will sure put the pup in her place when she messes with her...:D |
Me, me, me! :D I've got one. I finally gave up and she now has her own dedicated square to dig in!;) By the way, yours are cuties! |
Bugs Not only does Jill dig but she dives after bugs. Yuck! June bugs are her favorite. I love the pool. I'll have to look into one for us. Your's are little cutie pies! |

Yep ..they sure do love those june bugs..lol |
Bo hides all his bones it funny because he will bury his bones but not his toys...and if i give him something to eat he dont really care for he will bury it to but not stuff he likes its so cute....and he will also try to bury his pee and poo on his pee pads.....if his pads get to uses he will not use them he will sit down and look at them and wait for me to chage them...and even when they are not that bad and i put a new one down he has to use it he will high step over the pee he will not step in it he hates to be dirty its to cute. |
1 Attachment(s) Well, Milo LOVED digging! Here is a photo of him in his own sandbox caught soon after hiding his treats! And when he couldn't go outside he would hide them under pillows (yes, on the bed  ) but would get very upset if we found them.:D |
Mine were horrible diggers so I gave them their own digging spot by buying them a sand box. They love it and it looks like they are trying to dig their way to China. Since the sand box purchase I don't have anymore holes in the yard! |
I got a couple of those diggers too! |
I just got rid of my son's sandbox last year...guess I should get another one!! Topher LOVES to dig, but hasn't dug outside yet....he digs on the bed, on the carpet, on the sofa cushions, etc. He'll 'bury' his bully stix... 'cover' it over with his nose (that is the funniest thing to watch...he'll push the imaginary dirt with his nose for the longest time and he looks at his treat again and again wondering why he can still see it! It's amazing how this trait is inherent in the breed. I LOVE the pictures!! So cute of Milo with the sand all over his face..lol...sweet, sweet, sweet! I hope Topher loves the water....I'm definitely going to get him a little pool. |
Rocky is a digger. He also likes to pull up the grass. |
Our yorkie, Hootie, whom we brought home on Sunday sure is a digger! She gets in Hobbs' food bowl and just digs and digs! She has the kibble from one end of the living room to the other by the time she's satisfied with her digging job. She is such a HOOT! |
Parker loves to dig and play in the sand. Hasnt dug in the dirt yet. But when my 2 yr old get in her sand box, he goes crazy... Its tooo cute. He will always gets a white nose from the sand. Its makes bath time fun too. Sand isnt the easiest thing to get completey rinsed off. hahaha |
Maggie doesn't dig in the yard..but she does dig at ME! If i'm lying in bed and she wants to play she'll come up to me and dig at my arm or sometimes even my face! It doesn't really hurt, but it's always a shock. I tell her NO but then laugh after because it's SO funny. |
Add another digger to the list. Ruby and I will be going out to buy a sandbox later I think, good idea! |
I thought that was part of the definition of a Yorkie :) ! Potty time for Bailey - Bailey: Walk around, sniff, dig, dig, dig Me: Bailey, go potty Bailey: Walk around, sniff, dig, dig, dig Me: Bailey! GO POTTY! (Repeat half a dozen times with less walking and sniffing each time, but more digging!) When she finally does go, she comes to grab her treat and immediately runs back to her diggin' spot - at which time I grab her and head back in. |
