He is absolutely adorable and I bet he is loving the freedom. I too loved him in full coat but my kids so love to play outside and they do bring in everything. Sometimes things I don't want to find in their coats. He is beautiful any way you look at it!!!

The only groomer I will ever use is Debbie Ray (she also handled Buster for me in the ring while finishing his AKC Championship) She lets me watch every clip of the coat and I will be using my girls as test cases later this week LOL poor girls! Only one I might leave in coat is Summer contemplating showing this beautiful little girl, her daddy is Debbie Rays handsome man is Am/Can and Int'l Champion Sumtoi Tailor Made, she just cut him down too.

For anyone in Oregon she is in Salem and a member here under Dray...

He's so precious, aww. He barely looks like the same dog, though! Guess there's a big difference in attire from work to play, lol.

He is beautiful with and without his hair!! I just shaved my Petey, its so much easier!! May he enjoy his retirement!

your baby is pretty both ways but if Kizzys hair ever looks like yours in the first pic, my husband would die if I got hers cut like that. He already tells me dont yu be cutting on her hair anywhere just because I like to take the scissors and cut the short hair at the edge of her eyes that looks like they keep sticking in her eyes. But I have cut them and it seems like they grow back the next day or two and I heard its better if you can cope with it to let them grow on out so I think I wont cut hers anymore and just see. Anyway, your baby is beautiful. I dont think I could of ever gotten the nerve to have it cut if it was Kizzy. just a beautiful puppy. I just cant tell you how much I adore that long coat. thanks for sharing the pics.

Kizzy I cant agree more but when you have 8 kids and occassional puppies your hands are full, the coat takes an enormous amount of work specially while showing. Sometime and in my case now less is more:)

I just now saw this - he looks fantastic in his new cut ...did you do it yourself ? WOW - why can't I find a groomer that I would trust to do that ?

awww.he looked like a cutie pie with the long coat but looks so much more free with his new cut that makes him look like a young pup.

well that is true, with 8 kids I wouldnt even want to take the time to keep her hair that well groomed. I probably wouldnt have time for it anyway. But she sure is pretty with it long. But pretty with it short too. I can't imagine Kizzy ever having hair that long. but i'm hoping.

OMGGGG!!! He is so gorgeous. He looks great with short and long hair (although I have to say I am in love with the gorgeous long hair!!!!)

I absolutely love the full coat on Yorkies, but all of mine are cut short too. I just think they are more comfortable that way and of course its easier to keep them. He is a georgeous dog either cut!! And lets face it we are all about our Yorkies and what they want.:p
