Barking When Leaving the House I don't know when or how this started happening, but Brownie never used to do this before. We used to leave the house and that was it....no whining, no barking, etc. In the past few months a new trend has started happening when I moved into my new place. As soon as she knows I'm taking her out, she starts whining, crying, whimpering until I open the door and then she'll bark loudly, a few sharp times. I keep telling her "NO" and tell her to shush, but she will bark again. I don't know if she's doing this just to tick me off or is this because of excitement. She never used to do this before........  |
i would say she is excited....Bo cries everytime me or my hubby leaves the house or gets out of the truck...it is so sad i almost hate to leave him |
As much as we sometimes believe it to be true, yorkies don't really do things to tick us off! :D I believe she is just excited to get out the door. They love to go out. |
Brownie used to be such a good baby, now, she's turning into a holy terror  The change has really only been in the last couple of months and she's 4 years old already!!! Now, she's constantly running around wanting to play, jumping off the sofa, and when we go my grandmother's place (on a daily basis), she is embarassing me by not wanting to go home. It used to be when I said "Let's go home", she would jump into my bag or run to the door. Now, when I say it's time to leave, she runs away from me into the lap of my grandmother or hides in a little crack behind my gran's and the sofa. I guess she thinks if she can't see me, I can't see her. She even plays "Steal the Food" of the two Golden Retreivers that my gran's has. She'll wait till they're not looking and then eat the food, but if she catches them looking at her, she sulk away. I wonder why all of a sudden the change? |
