OK, I have to wait one more week!
 

I know I told you all I was picking up Lillie on Saturday, but I was in a dilemma, My husbands work has a company picnic every year to a place called Indiana Beach, it's like a small Cedar Point (amusement park), but we go every year and camp and we have already bought are tickets, I was planning on taking Kloey with us and while we were at the park I was going to take her to a dog sitter. Well........
So I talked to Jill and we both agree Lillie is to young to go to a dog sitter plus it may be to stressfull for her to come be with me a week then have to travel to the park and then be with a dog sitter, so as much as I hate to wait, I'm going to get her the day after we get back! so now more waiting! But I would rather her be safe, plus Jill was telling me her momma Daisy is sad cause her other pup Maddie just went to her forever home with Denise so this may help Daisy out.
So now the new date is Monday June 26th and I hope Jill gets up early LOL

My husband took me fishing tonight to try to take my mind off things, it was pretty relaxing, but all I caught was baby fish and my pole kept tangling up cause it was not lined right (men!) and I had to put them juicy worms on the hook and I hate worm guts, but I made him take my baby fish off the hook!

It must be hard waiting an extra week, but I think that is the best decission. It will be much beter in the long run. Good luck...:D

You are such a good fur-mommy! You are doing what is best for Lillie even though it's harder for you. She's another lucky girl!

ohhhh... one more week! LOL It'll be the longest week ever! just kidding! It's better this way anyhow..... a new puppy should not be moved around too much. I guess ALL of YT will be waiting with you! :dreaming:

Sounds like the best thing to do is wait another week I know it's tough though. That was nice of your husband to take you fishing now if he could just put the wire on right LOL ;)

I would not go fishing and leave all 7 of my yorkies at home, one reason something could happen and my father would not know what to do for my babies, I hate fishing.I like being close to them my husband calls me oh mother hen.

I didn't know you were getting a puppy! I'm soooo happy for you! Now we'll have "sisters" growing up here on YT! Sorry you have to wait longer to get her, but the time should fly and she'll be in your arms before you know it! Big hugs. Can't wait to see pics of your little darling. I love the name Lillie!

Missy, I know I've told you before, but I am so happy you're getting Lillie. If you keep yourself busy (getting things ready for her), maybe even go shopping for her, the week should go by fairly quickly. It's going to be so exciting for you when the day finally arrives. I love the name you've picked out too. I find that once I get on YT, I look at the clock and man oh man the time has flown by, so beside getting everything ready (puppy proofing) and shopping, you have another avenue to help the time fly. As always, wishing you the best!!!

I love your fishing story!!! I can see you so clearly! But it did sound like it was a nice time for bonding with the hub, and I am glad you had that time together!

It will be a very long week, but look what you will be heading toward. Just keep that in mind and know that your little baby is helping her mom to heal, just like she will be helping you to heal. That is one special little puppy going a very special lady.
