Hope Dezi is doing well, Lottie had asurgery for 4 baby canine teeth yesterday and I was the same, ill all day. When I went to pick her up she was abit sleepy but back to her normal self today and she was just the same when she got spayed.Good luck. |
Well, I just called (could not wait until 2:00 p.m.) and they said the surgery went well and she is walking around. She is my little trooper. I can't believe she is walking around. I have to see it to believe it. I thought she would be groggy and sleepy all day. I can pick her up at 6:00 today. I will keep you posted on her recovery. Thank you all for your prayers and kind words. |
I'm happy to hear that Dezi is doing well - and I know you feel a lot better now! It's hard for me to post encouraging words to people who are putting their little girls in to be spayed - every time, my own anxieties start coming out and I think "they don't need to be hearing this," so I just abandon the post. It's so much fun, though, to be able to send congratulations after everything has gone well! |
I picked up Dezi and she was so cute wiggling her tail (very slowly) she is very very sleepy and complaints once in awhile. It's so sad to see her walking so slowly and feeling groggy. Hope she will be back to normal tomorrow. Thanks for your prayers and kind words. |
Im glad that Dezi did well on her surgery. Hopefully by tomorrow she will be feeling better. Hugs. |
glad she is doing ok ...and each day i hope she feels better ~ |
I'm sure she'll do just fine. Mandi just got spayed 10 days ago. She did great. Moved a little slower for a couple of days but about the 3 rd day she acted like nothing had happened. She just got her stitches out yesterday--yeah!! I agree, I think it is harder on us--I felt sooo sorry for her and it was hard to leave her at the vet. Good luck to you and your baby--she'll be just fine!! |
Sorry, I did not post earlier, but I was sleeping all day with Dezi. Dezi did really well last night except she wanted to lick and pick on her surgery. So I was up all night holding her so she would not touch the surgery. Called the vet early this morning and they told me to go in to get a collar for her. She was not happy with the collar, but it stopped her from picking on her surgery. Took the collar off a couple of times during the day, but had to watch her closely. She is walking, eating and doing her business ( a little slower than than the norm). She looks a lot better and I expect that by tomorrow, she will be much better. I will post pictures of her when I get a chance. |
