Treats Meg is picky
 
I've got 7 or 8 bags of treats laying around the kitchen that Meg doesnt like. We got soft, hard, and a mix hard shell chewey inside. Can anyone recommend. Some treats to try. I want to spoil her but friends dogs are the only ones getting any treats cause I give them away after a week or so. We even went to the pet store with the treats in the middle you can try and she turned her nose up at all of them. Any help to save some cash on treats would help. lol.

My girls adore carrots and there's a lot of pups on here that freak out over boiled chicken pieces. Oscar's Mom Deb gets dehydrated chicken snacks for Oscar, and he loves them! Wosie does too, even though she gets the itchies. But she tried to steal them anyway!:p

Keep away from fatty treats as much as possible if you can. Try to find natural treats. My girls also get Lamb Squares broken up into bits, and they love them!!

My dogs favorite treats are the chicken jerky and the beef jerky. The chicken jerky is kind of expensive but all three of my dogs absolutely love it.

Any other treats I give them they go and hide for later.

Hobbs is SO picky...the one and only treat that he will eat are called Canine Carryouts. They come in a blue & white bag with orange writing. They have all kinds of flavors, but Hobbs' favorites are beef & cheese flavor, and just beef flavor! I know several picky yorkies who all love these treats!

Those were the first ones we got for Bailey (the beef & cheese) and the only treats she has gotten other than Cheerios. They are so big that we cut each one into about a dozen tiny treats! The size doesn't seem to matter to her - in fact, for training it seems that they need to be really tiny or she spends too much time eating them. For general rewards (training, etc.) she seems just as happy to get a Cheerio as the beef & cheese treat.

I have to break Hobbs' treats up in about a dozen pieces, too, or he won't eat it. How funny is that!

Oscar is pretty picky where treats are concerned. So far he likes the chicken jerkey, Cheerios, pupcorn and today he found a new favorite. While in Tractor Supply getting chicken feed, I saw a bag of Bil Jac Liver Treats...so I grabbed a bag! You would have thought I had given crack to a lifelong addict! He went insane. I caved and gave him two more - three total...he whined all the way home...for 30 minutes he begged me for more of that "puppy crack"!!! I have never seen him like that before!!!
