Mine are not allowed on the couch or bed unless I pick them up and put them there with me. I don't want them jumping up themselves, the couch and the bed are really high for them so I don't want them to hurt themselves, so only when I am there I will put them on the couch with me so I can make sure they don't try jumping up or off the couch and falling and hurting themselves. They are precious to me and I have seen my bigger dogs hurt themselves trying to jump on the bed, so the little ones are forever allowed only supervised time on the couch and bed!!! |
He can go anywhere he wants but the 2nd floor and basement are off limits. |
He has one set of steps to go on the couch when I am home only. And then when we go to sleep the steps are by the bed. He can't jump up onto anything so there is no need for him to be anywhere else. He has his comfy bed in the living room for when I am not home, after him hurting himself when falling from such a low height I am afraid to let him have the couch when I am not home.. No need in him trying to figure out how to jump onto the table from the couch ya know. |

Absolutely! and I feel honored that the yorkies ALLOW me access to the furniture as well :D |
yep all over ! our kitchen table is our grooming table and for our cats & guniea pig we never use it |
Sadie is allowed anywhere her little heart desires! O...except where food products are... |
Scooter is allowed anywhere he wants to go....except the kitchen table....but of course he doesn't seem to get the idea that he's not suppose to be up there. My daughter was so mad this morning because she had just taken her sausage biscuit out of the microwave and was letting it cool off....when Scooter snatched it and took off to the living room with it. Luckily, I got it away from him before he had a chance to eat any. I'm not sure how to break him of this. |
Bailey can go almost anywhere she's able to go. Exceptions are our bed (because she's only 3 months old and we don't think she's reliably potty trained yet - in time, I'm sure we'll relent and she'll be sleeping there) and tables, etc. that are high enough to be unsafe for her. We thought the entire upstairs would be out of her reach for a while, but about two weeks ago she suddenly showed up by my desk where I was working upstairs. I wouldn't have believed that little thing could make it up the stairs, but obviously she could - and frequently has since that first time. |
Precious Is Let Any Where:d |
Sissy is allowed wherever she can go. I have even put her on the kitchen table to give feed her and keep it away from our other dog!! |
