Guess what I discovered??? My Tilly's ears have started to fall down because she is teething right now and I didn't want to take the chance that they would stay that way, so I put Coverlet eye occlusors (that my daughter used to have to wear for her lazy eye). They work perfectly, Just the right size and stiff enough that they stand up with only one on. You only have to place it on the front of the ear and it has stayed on all day with no problems! She has been playing with my other dog and running around like crazy, soooo much better than scotch tape!!!:D :D :D http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ance&n=3760901 |
It's the stress of it all. I would suggest feeding Tilly some cottage cheese mixed with her kibble and keep the hair trimmed off her ears. :) :aimeeyork :) |
Great idea! Looks better than masking tape! ;) |
What a great idea! I wonder if at more than 2yrs old if it would help Kitty. She has what I consider a lazy ear. She can hold it up but some days it's droopy. |
good idea! thanks for sharing, a lot of people ask about ear taping! |
I think you're a GENIUS! :D This is a tip I might definitely try. My 12 week old has ears juuuust trying to stand, and one cocks up higher than the other....SO CUTE! But since her mom's ears tend to flop most of the time, I sort of wonder what hers will do. I love both standing AND floppy ears, and she is a VERY active little girl :D, so I'd already pretty much decided that messing with taping wasn't going to be worth the frustration for either one of us. But this, this I would try. Thanks for the tip! |
That does sound like a great idea, though I have always had ears that stand. |
