Maverick & Mercedes (Red/Gold/Blonde Yorkies) 1 Attachment(s) Here is a collage of some pictures I took of the babies today. Nothing real special, just some wind blown messy hair pictures. I'll try and get some better ones of Mercedes with a pretty bow or outfit. They are now 1 year old and keep me VERY busy!:D Believe it or not, I do have them cut back quite a bit for a Summer cut. Not crazy about Mercedes' face since I took some extra hairs off her snout that wanted to poke straight into her eyes...what's a mamma to do?:rolleyes: |

Thank you:) . Yes, they are 100% AKC Yorkies....just born with a color anomally, such as the Parti and the chocolates. They were born along with 2 standards in the same litter (my avatar shows them when wee little). Came as a total shock to me, and I just love them to pieces. |

3 Attachment(s) Julz, I love your pictures. I recently bought a puppy that is very light in color (& she's getting lighter every day). The breeder told me to list her color as "Golden". Do you list your puppies as Blonde or Golden? The 3rd picture is of Riley's mother. |
OMG, your puppy is DARLING!!!!!!! Mine were born with no balck or brown whatsoever. Your little girl is just so cute you must hardly be able to stand it!! Can't wait to see pictures of her as she grows and see what she is going to look like. Her mother is very similar in color to my Mercedes. She looks a little bigger though pictures can be deceiving. Mercedes weighs around 5 pounds and just turned 1 on May 30th. Thanks for sharing your baby!! |
Julz, yes we're all loving Riley! Riley's mother is 3 1/2lbs & her father is 2 1/2lb As your aviator shows your puppies were born light bown, Riley had black too & not nearly as light brown as your babies. She goes to the vet tomorrow for her 2nd round of shots. So we'll get her weight then. |

Wow- they are sooo cute! I want one!! Are you going to breed these two when they are ready? I guess not to eachother since they are brother and sister...or breed the parents again to see if they will throw more blondes? I would love one!! gr8yorkiecraze- how did you come across yours? Lucy's Mom, no I was just looking for a puppy really. A friend of a friend has a few yorkies & he's just beginning to breed. It's the selling (& parting with) that he has a problem with. He had a litter last year with 3 females but couldn't part with them. So this time I got there before he could name this female. I just talked to him yesterday & the 1st thing he said was "You bringing my baby back?". NEVER! |

4 Attachment(s) Yes, parting with them is sooooo very hard for me! It can get down right embarrassing (tears and all). This is the first time I kept any and as enjoyable as it has been most of the time, it is hard to keep them too. I ended up with 3 pups at the same time because I bought Cowboy. Needless to say, none of the pups are housetrained all that well. I have one (Tiah) that is perfect and, for the life of me, I can't recall how it happened. I'll attach a picture of my little Cowboy (just for fun;) ). Two of when he was little and two now..... |
