Glad I found this thread. The rescue we are about to adopt is a 15lb boy that needs to lose about 4 lbs. Even so, he will weigh a bit over 10lb! No shame there! :)

How great you have the bigger ones on. My Bonnie is about 9 pounds now and just a month shy of one year. She is completely Champaigne and Gold. Both her mom and Grandmom were also. She looks like a pearl in the sun. I can't get a picture to shrink to the 200 KB so I can add one though.

Here's Zoey she's one of my moms dogs. Shes 13yrs old and weighs in at a whopping 21lbs :) She doesn't look big and then you pick her up and shes a ton of bricks.

This is Dante. he is 2yrs and for the longest time he weighed 10.5 lbs. I weighed him the other day and he is at 11 lbs. he is my mama's boy.

Molly weighs in at 16lbs at the moment, but she is on a diet follwing a cruciate ligament tear. She has lost just over a pound in 2 months so is doing really well...i wish the same could be said of me and my diet!! :D

Mister Toby weighs a healthy 15 lbs. His vet said that he has a very slim chance of getting any of the usual health problems of the tiny yorkies ! Woohoo !

Sage is 9lbs and will be 1 this month. The vet said she was a great size and still had a trim waist. Wish mommy could say the same.

They are all so adorable! Love the pictures. I've seen quite a few teapot ones around town here and in the pet store with their owners.

I'm researching about getting a Yorkie. I'm curious as to whether or not you knew your puppy was going to be 10 pounds or more? We love our 12 year old Tibetan Spaniel, who is 15 pounds. But I'm looking for a smaller breed for when I do therapy dog work. How often do you find they end up way bigger than represented as a puppy?
