This sucked...
 

A waitress we know(Rose), through us eating at Dennys, had a Yorkie for 16 years and he passed away 2 weeks ago. She has been so sad since! This weekend she told us a lady had offered her a yorkie puppy for $100.00 but she didn't have the money and she wasn't sure she was ready for a new baby, but she wanted to know what I thought, well, to me it was a no-brainer!! Gotta have another one!

Anyhow I gave her the money to buy the baby (she didn't ask or even hint I had to force it on her) So I was feeling good about the whole thing and thinking she was going to be happy again. So she called the woman when she got home and the lady sold the dog! ONE day after offering it to Rose. So poor Rose was devastated again! I feel so bad for her. We thought it was a sure thing. The lady who sold the puppy didn't think Rose reacted like she was going to take him so she sold him for full price to someone else.

So my poor friend was on a Yorkie roller coaster ride this weekend, she gave me the money back of course but she doesn't have a baby. The chance at a baby that cheap doesn't come along every day so I don't know if she'll get another one or not.

Doesn't that stink???

Have her look into adoption. there are so many out there that need homes.
If she is used to an older one this would be perfect. I hope she finds one.

Yep! Sucked is an understatement. But, there's reasons for everything. I'm sure another one will come to your friend.

I'm sorry she didn't get her puppy but what a nice thing for you to do for her. Not many people would have given an acquaintance $100. Maybe she didn't get the puppy, but someday you will be rewarded for your nice gesture. Did you see the movie "Pay it Forward" (I think was the name)?
