Help we need puppy get well prayers!!!
 
Help,

we need puppy prayers right away. My brothers yorkie is suddenly ill. This morning she woke up and she was throwing up and not moving, wont even stand. I told them to rush her to a pet er near them and now I am waiting to find out what is happening to his baby. I am so sad and scared for them, I know if it was me I would be a wreck.

So please send out those puppy prayers that she will get better quickly.

Sorry to hear about the litle pup :cry: We will definitly keep them in our prayers. How long has he had the puppy?

Thanks for letting us know! We are praying and thinking about the little darling. What is her name and how old is she? Let us know as soon as you hear anything.

Her name is Kroshka. She is only 16 weeks old and the have only had her for about 3 weeks, but your heart gets so attached so quickly. They are at the animal er right now, and will call as soon as they get any info I just hope it isnt anything serious.

well they just got out of the vet. they out fluid under her sking to help prevent dehydration. Her temp was lower than t should have been but she is doing better. They could not pin point an exact casue, possibly a cold. He is supposed to take her back later this week.

Does anyone have an ideas as to what can casue this? she was ok, playng fine then woke up sick. As far as we know she didnt get into anything that could hurt her, she is never alone, and they have been feeding her like normal.

I suggested they up the nutrical to give her a boost if needed. Other than that I am not sure what to suggest Ideas????

Marlee, I am so sorry to hear this story and want to add my prayers. Please tell your brother to keep her WARM, hydrated, even if they water down Nutristat or Nutrical and syringe it in. Keep an eye on her urine output and BM's. I am concerned that she has a cogenital problem, but that is just my gut. If she is better then it could be just hypoglycemia. Did the breeder go over all of the possible problems Yorkie puppies can have? Have any of her/his other puppies been ill? Ask to talk with her vet..make sure breeder gives vet approval to discuss the baby's care, and any other puppies from this or other litters with similar problems.
