Sap or Gum? Kona stepped in sap or gum while we were outside. I tried washing her paw with her shampoo and then using the brush, but that didn't work too well. Should I cut the part off that is sticking together? Is there a product made to help with situations like this? |
I thought I read somewhere that if you put ice on it it will be easier to get out. It hardens it. One time my dtr when she was little had waist lenght hair and fell asleep in the car with gum in her mouth and woke up with it all in her hair right in the middle. I couldn't bear to cut her hair so i sat for hours and combed it out with a fine tooth comb. Good luck |
:) I'm not sure about with dogs but I always used peanut butter to get gum out of my daughter and granddaughter's hair. It breaks the gum up and then you just have to shampoo really well. I'd think it should probably work the same on dogs. :) |
Yes, I have used ice before and it worked great. |
