I was so afraid I am pretty sure that one day I will do a cardiac arrest.....N'Stein scared me so much. This morning I open the door and I had a chair in my arms but N'Stein just decide that he wants to go outside. I yelled at him "N'Stein come here..., stay". But he still continue his way out, he runs all the way of the balcony, get down th stairs and finally he was on the sidewalk. I was so afraid that he decided to run on the street. I stop yelling after him, I calmed myself, and I was pretty sure I will find him at his prefered spot of grass. There he was, I don't have to tell you that I just grab him and bring him inside. I was so afraid that he get hit by a car on the street. Little monster. |
No, he's not a monster, he waited for you! When Tucker used to escape he would run for blocks! You have a very good baby there. But I'm sure you had a heart attack. Sure glad he was ok! |
i'm glad you got him It is so scary when they escape! |
Morgan has made many bee-lines out the front door, again this morning actually. The only way to get her back inside is to let Bailey out and then she chases him and I can catch her. Lucky for me Bailey listens and she follows him. Glad to hear your baby is ok. |
Same Thing Happened to Me. A couple of weeks ago I, being 12, accidentally left the front door open and Bailey got out. There was a 2006 Mote Carlo coming down the street and all 4 members of my family (5 including Bailey) ran terrified and stood in the street yelling stop and showing the stop sing with our hands in case their music was too loud. When we got her, I was terrified that I could have caused her death by a silly little mistake. I know always watch her when I am going outside and make sure that the doors are closed properly. It made me so sad when my mom said she would have never forgiven me if Bailey had been hit. I don't know what I would have done either but I sure would have done alot of crying and I may have even hated myself for a bit. |
Jasmine is terrible about running if she gets outside. I don't know what to do about it. We live in the country and she will run to the woods behind or to the side of our house. There is all kinds of "critters" in the woods including bobcats and coyotes so something could get her in a second. Duffy, our Westie is good about bringing her back. I had her on the deck last week. We have 3 decks and a stone patio that are all on different levels and you go from one to the other. One goes to a a pool and is gated because of the grandchildren, etc. I was out there and shut the gate because I thought she wouldn't jump off (the deck is about 4 foot off the ground. She jumped off. I knew immediately because Duffy became very aggitated ran to the gate and wanted out. I looked and she was taking off into the woods. I let him out and he brought her back. It's a wonder she didn't break a leg. Scared me to death. |
They are small but they are acting like big doggy. |
I Completely Know What You Mean...colby Will Run Out Of The Front Door And He Is Gone. He Will Run All Over Our Neighborhood And I Mean Like All The Way Down To The Other Part Of It. And The Worst Thing Is That He Likes To Chase The Cows That Are In The Pasture Behind Our House. When He Does That It Is Usually In The Dark And Of Course You Cnat See Them And I Am So Afraid That One Day A Cow Is Going To Step On Him And Then I Will Probably Have To Do Something Really Bad To That Cow.lolo!!! |
They can be little brats, so glad you were able to get him before he got in the street. Rudy is my runner, he has scared me to death a few times, now the door isn't opened unless he is behind the gate or I am holding him. |
