yorkie/silky 3 Attachment(s) do you think remmie is a yorkie or a silky?? i was told he was a yorkie but he does have a long snot and his hair is a little different looking Thanks you!!!! |
It's hard to tell by the pics but I think he looks like a yorkie. |
looks just like mine...kirby has a long snout and larger ears and weighs about 8lbs but his papers say yt. it boggles me. his pedigree states he is blue and gold but he is black and gold. i just dont get it. i pay for a yorkie who i just love to death but i feel like i was had at the same time. |

I agree it is very hard to tell...but he is a CUTIE PIE  Timmy has a long snout and BIG ears and my baby girl Mimi has a shorter snout and shorter ears. |
Remmie is a very handsome dude! How old is he? He looke like a Yorkie to me -- I haven't seen very many silkies and never a silkie puppy..... so.... |
he looks a little like my baby, Dixie Doll. Her snout is longer than Ceeby's or Silks. her ears are small. She has smaller eyes than them, too but is a doll for sure and all yorkie. She has little short legs and body. I just perfer the eyes and snout that Ceeby has. |
 What exactly is the difference. Oliver's papers say yorkshire terrier, color-blue and gold. To me, he's mostly black, with tan feet and tan around the face, but he also has silver color down his back. Breeder says the silver color is what they call "blue". I'm confused! Can someone clarify? Thanks!:aimeeyork |

So what color is the one on the right? Ceeby is that color exactly. Oh, how I wish his hair was that long already. It's getting there. |

:D Thanks for the pictures. Their beautiful pups. Oliver looks exactly like the one on the right. So, I guess he's blue and tan. His hair isn't as long yet, but it's getting there. :aimeeyork Quote:

He looks like a Yorkie to me and a very cute one at that. |
Thanks! he is pretty cute, huh?!!!....lol remmie is 18/19 weeks old i also got his pedigree info this week and everything looks normal i guess, but one of his relatives colors were FAWN, how is that?? anyone?? i love him, thanks for all the imput, the only reason i questioned his breed is because my father and husband dont think he looks right,....i think he is adorable |
First, he is a cutie no matter what he is. And second, the colors are marked when the dog is still a puppy and as we know, all Yorkie pups are black and brown/tan. AKC told me to mark the reg application with the colors of the mother. Actually, the only time it would be of great importance is if showing or used for breeding. |
Kona has bigger ears too, but her papers say that she is a yorkie. No matter what, I love her. :) |
BTW, was there any info about the breeders name included with the dog whose color was fawn? And, the papers are AKC, right? I have off-color dogs and I want you to know I am not asking these questions to criticize. I am curious about the location of the fawn Yorkies. I know of a few in the country.... |
hi no, the wasnt any info on the relatives other then names, colors and ckc #, he is just CKC both ears are standingg up for a few seconds, this morning |
