I definitely have learned from my experience, and like I said, if we end up getting another yorkie baby, it wouldn't be from him. There is no way I'd give up my Jaxon - he is my world!!! I'm thankful for YT and having the chance to learn more so I can make an informed decision next time around.

I think it is quite obvious that he is avoiding the question of where he keeps all the puppies. :thumbdown

Three of the yorkies they are carrying seem to me pure breed. The other one is too big. I don't think they are the parents of the puppies he is selling in his website.

some of those "yorkies" look like raccoons!

He called me stupid!

i replied to him and advised since he will not tell me if they are raised in a home or kennel, i would have to go else where to find a pup.
he replied "GOOD!"
WHAT A JERK !!!!!!!!!!

This guy is absolutely pathetic.....I wonder what will happen to the Yorkies when he and his wife dies???

Hi I Am New To All This, But If He Is A Puppy Mill Why Isn't He Shut Down.

I Know What He Is Like Cause I Got My Baby From Him.

I Tired To Talk To Him About Coming Down On The Price But He Wouldn't Hear Of It.and Other Things About My New Puppies.

Also My Cousin Bought One From The Sister Site I Ask Him To Save On Shipping Too Cause We Were Buying Two He Would Not Hear Of It.

He Said He Had Nothing Thing To Do With The Other Puppies From That Site, Which I Am Not Sure But I Think They Are Brother.

But They Are Different As Night And Day

I Could Not Get Any Answers From Jeff, But My Cousin Talked For About A Hour With The Other Breeder About Her Puppy.

They Both Came On The Same Plane Different Crates

I Will Never Do That Again (my Poor Baby)

I Think He Had Jet Lag, We Had A Rough Start I Cried Many Nights About Him I Though I Was Going To Lose Him

And My Poor Vet, I Drove Her Nuts (lol) He Wouldn't Eat. He Just Was Not Right, All Though Vet Said He Was Healthy.

I Loved Him As Soon As I Seen Him.

I Think He Throws Food On The Floor For The Puppies Cause Gimpy Will Not Eat From A Bowl.

I Really Don't Care Cause He's My Little Turd And I Have All The Time In The World For Him I Would Not Replace Him

But I Feel Sorry For The Other Puppies If Every Thing Is True About That Man. I Wish Something Could Be Done!!!

Hello All!

I'm a new member to this board. I'd like to give a BIG "Thank You" for all of the information posted. I've never had to post b/c all my questions have been answered somewhere throughout this board :-)! I've been perusing and came across this link.....I'd like to add my 2 cents worth.

Like Jaxon's Mom, I bought my precious GiGi from Jeff Dane. I wouldn't give her up for the world. Had I known what I do now, I probably wouldn't have even considered Jeff as a potential breeder. Here is a log of my experience:

* Actually visited his place in Texas 11/05. I was actually working near his ranch on a temporary work assignment. The puppies were keep in a temperature controlled enviroment in a warehouse structure. The younger pups were in cages with their mums. The adult dogs (there weren't many) were allowed free roam of his property. The place was clean.
* He receives pups from other breeders to sell as well as his own pups.
* The animals appeared to be well taken care of.
* Gigi was 12 weeks when I bought her. It was love at first sight. No health concerns except for a nasty case of Kennel Cough. Unsure if she was already infected when I bought her or if she contracted at Petsmart. It LASTED over 4 months.
* No confrontations with Jeff. Overall a positive experience but I wouldn't buy from him again given what I know now.

At 10 months, Gigi is a well adjusted furbaby who has just reached "Big Girl" status since she's finally caught a clue with regards to potty training. The bells are ringing!!

He probably replied good because your knowledgable, and maybe he's afraid if you saw how he's breeding you would get him shut down.

I have to agree. Some of them are really cute tho. It makes me nervous when it is posted on the very first page that they do NOT follow AKC standards for the breed, which could mean just about anything goes. Some of those pups are going to be way to small to breed when grown and I bet he doesn't have spay/neuter contracts.
