Should I worry? Well I just bought Baby her first Greenie and I was trying to see if she would be interested in it and so I just gave it to her and got on here and did a search about greenies to see what all of you had to say about them. Well then I find this horrible post about how they can hurt them..and to only give them to your dog while supervising them. So I went to take it away from her and she has hidden it ??somewhere??? I can't find it anywhere. Should I worry?? I don't want her to bring it out when we leave and her get hurt? She's too clever. I can normally find her hiding spots..you know the blankets, my dresser drawers, clothes baskets. BUt no go. I just can't find it anywhere? So should I worry? I'm such a freak when it comes to Baby. Thanks guys! |
I would keep looking... |
I bought my baby her 1st teenie greenie yesterday, and gave it to her today, and she LOVED it, i had no problems at all, infact the thing is already gone, once it got down to about 1/2 inch i threw the rest away so she couldn't choke, but i have a feeling shes going to want another, so im going to give her one, once a week, as a treat! But yes i would supervise them when they are chewing these, because in no time, they become so small, the babies can choke on them if they try to swallow them, i would def keep searching for it! hope all goes well! |
maybe she already ate it, this is going to sound gross but check her poop, if it is green she already ate it :p |
You have to watch that your dog chews the Greenie well. If they are breaking off pieces and swallowing them, it doesn't get digested properly and it can cause a blockage. Personally, I don't even bother with them anymore. Whenever I hear about a problem with a product I stop using it (there is even a warning about them on their website). Why risk it? There are a ton of treats out there dogs love and I brush his teeth and have my vet check/clean his teeth when needed. |
Well I still have had no luck finding it. So I will check her poop. Thanks for the help! I swear she only had it for like 5 minutes! |
