Showing dogs I would love to show Chachi but I have to have him neutered. I have a boy and a girl dog. Anyway I just wondered if anyone knew why they have that rule that dogs who are altered can't show. |
Conformation shows are to evaluate breeding stock. So a dog must be left intact for that show type. As far as agility/tracking/ect I'm not sure on the rules with those types, but I'm sure someone here knows. |
In agility/obedience the neutered or spayed dogs are allowed . |
Sounds like it's time to buy a new pup to show. Three is company! |
This afternoon , I will be showing two puppies ( a male and a female ) with my breeder at a sanction match . I've done it before and really love the experience . It is very funny to see them react in the ring . Puppies are so spontanious and often make you laugh . From time to time , my breeder ask me to help her with her Yorkies at dogshows . I am taking experience and learning ,learning and learning . |
You are very lucky to have the opportunity to be with pups . They are adorable with their antics . Probably go see this sanction match . Good luck with the little ones. |
