wires lola keeps biting my computer wires! its really annoying she chewed though one already and, she ruinerd my internet connection, ihad to buy a new wire, does anyone have any suggestions on what to do, i tell her no and she'll stiop but then come back later! |
I have the same problem here with Gremlin (of course it is him, not my princess Gypsy :D ). He chewed through the cell phone charger cord. Luckily it was not plugged up at the time. When we get moved, we are going to put the comp wires in a pvc pipe or something like that. They do make things to put wires in such as these: http://cableorganizer.com/cord-covers/ Hubby is going to ck them out, |
I just bought these things called critter cords but haven't put them on yet |
Chewing through my wires! help!!! Ohh my god yesterday when i got home from work i noticed that Rocky chewed threw my internet wire i mean there are four colors encased in that wire and he ate one color. My internet is down now untill i buy a new cable, the only thing with me is that we have this cable running from one bedroom to the living room so we have it nailed to the edge of the wall if any one has any suggestions please advise that sour apple does not really work please let me know if you think of anything else. thanks, Elisandra :aimeeyork |
Try deodorant |
Chachi has a good idea .....and try putting those wires UP !! They are dangerous to chew - very dangerous. Maybe close up the room when you aren't there if you can ? |
Chachi chewed our xbox cord luckily thats all he chewed. I would think the safest thing to do while they are at that chewing age is confine them when you cant supervise them. |
i have my computer on a large corner computer table. My pug chewed thru my internet cable hookup which of course if right under the table. So, my husband cut a board to go from the corner to the outer edge of the table. My cords and plug ins are all behind it. It is high enough for me to use as a foot prop when I am at the computer. The yorkies have never even tried to get over it and couldn't even if they did. The pug didn't go back over the "fence' either. It was so embarrassing. I had to have the cable guy come out. |
Thanks for the response guys! I wanted him to have enough space to run a little bit if wanted but yes i am going to have to confine his space to less that what he has now, or i will just move the computer from where it's at now and put in a different room. So that when i am not home he wont have the wires to chew. When i am home it's a different story i tell him no and he dosent even bother i think he get's bored maybee my poor baby i was so mad but that cute little face he has can win me over anytime. :aimeeyork |
