AKC papers question hi guys...i have gotten my pups AKC papers but im not sure what package to get, is the purpose of it mainly for proof of ownership and pedigree. SO mainly do you need to send these in? which package did you guys choose? |
If yours is just a pet than I would just get the registration for $15.00. |
If you aren't going to breed or show, you really don't need to even send the papers in. I have just gotten the cheapest one for mine. |
papers Never buy a pedigree..the breeder can give you a copy..that is a big waste of $$$. |
I received the necessary papers to register my pup in the mail... But -- my little guy is only a pet and won't be shown or bred, so I didn't even register him. I have always registered my other dogs - and have then put the papers in a drawer and never looked at them again. I've decided that this is just a waste of money. I know my little guy is a purebred Yorkie and could be registered...that's enough for me. Good luck! Carol Jean |
Gypsy's papers are on my computer desk. Just have not gotten around to sending them in. Don't really know why I should except I can say she is akc registered. |
I fell into the whole pedigree thing really bad. I bought the Silver package:D , did you know my Tilly has grandparents with really silly names.... |
