All of your furbabies have such cute tricks.:) I like the one that can smile, I have a picture in my head of you getting ready to take a picture and saying to chanel "say cheese and smile for the camera":D I like the picture of the "gopher" that sits up, it so cute. And of course the one where their furbaby gets anything they want and their trick is training humans is cute too. Some many cute tricks....:coolsmile |
i take pride in my at home training sessions- mostly because Oliver's my first pup and I'm all giddy about showing him off (we're all good at that on this forum!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D ) Anyways- Oliver's best is probably rollover cuz it's cute but he ALWAYS will spin on command and laydown on command ALWAYS- only have to say it once. He's finetuned when it comes to praise and treats! hehe Others he does most the time are paw, rollover, sit, come, down, play dead, and one that comes in handy- QUIET!. And I agree with the posts earlier- the best trick HANDS DOWN is being 100% potty trained. It sure is a tough one! :D :D |
HMMMMMMMM, let's see. Best trick. It might be collecting the crowd to stand around a laugh til their sides ache at mom trying to teach them a trick! Gimme a kiss---LIPS OUT TO -----here! Notta kiss from the brats but mom's mouth looks like a hen's backside (Old WV saying). Or the walking on the leash..they train us to do that pretty quickly-just dig in all 4 feet and watch how quickly human on other end walks forward and picks up you. Good mom. I am sorry but every time I hear Yorkie Trick I immediately see all of the antics we do trying to get them to do a certain cutie. They KNOW their trick is to train their humans!!! And get by with pi$$ing on our leg as a treat..Not a person I know who could resist finding that funny. |
I wish I could get Sadie to play dead, but once she learned roll over, dead was out of the question. Now she rolls over even sometimes if that's not what I ask her to do. She knows I think it's cute & will give her the treat anyway. Something else she does is something that no one else but me sees. She sleeps with me, between my legs. In the mornings when I wake up, and she's still asleep, I'll say, "Good morning, Sunshine" in a singsong voice & she'll stretch her body up against mine & wants me to scratch her. I've tried saying other things to see what happens, but she never does it until I say "Good morning, Sunshine" |

"Go get mama" or "Go get daddy." It is soooo cute. Whoever you tell him to get, he'll go and lick them in the face over and over...so then I tell him to go get daddy so I can breath and it goes back and forth!:D He is so smart...there are probobly a list of 20 or 30 things that we can tell him to get and he will go and get the right thing. That's probobly true for all dogs, but I'm just a proud mama. ;) |

Reagan's best trick is sneezing. She will sneeze on command. She also does it when my sister is over eating. She will go sit right at her feet and sneeze until my sister gives her something then says "beautiful". The trick I'm most proud of though is roll over. It took us probably 4-5 months to learn that one. She hated rolling over so much that she quit laying down because she knew roll over was coming next. Now whenever she lays down she rolls over before I even tell her to just to get it over with. |

I am working on trying peppi how to cover her face with a paw on command. Trixie's best trick is when you come over to the expen she will automatically in slow motion roll over on her back with her stomach exposed with a look on her face that says 'well what are you waiting for, rub my belly". She won't get up or move until you do so, it is so cute... |
I can't remember which YTer posted this video, but it is still the cutest trick I've ever seen. http://www.jusspress.com/day.php?use...entTime=185820 |

I read this article in a magazine today - - about half way down are a whole heap of indoors tricks to teach!! Which is great considering the weather's getting pretty miserable here. ;) http://www.dogslife.com.au/dogs_life...40&pid=1034367 Evil Wee is getting pretty good at balancing on her hind legs when I ask her to "dance". She'll need those big ol' bum muscles to help her leap over those jumps in agility! But it's a pretty cute trick too. I got DH to take some snaps of Wee shakin' her booty! |
Best Trick...Hmmmm.... I would have to say Max's best trick is making it through the night without leaking on my carpet :D |
