Teeth falling out
 
Ok i have a question and who better to ask then the experts, my baby Rylie is four and half months old and i just got home from work and noticed that she is missing her 2 front bottom teeth:D ...I know puppies are suposed to lose their teeth but do they lose ALL OF THEM? Were those teeth supposed to have fallen out? i'm just being a little nutty and worring that maybe somehow they were knocked out... :rolleyes:

yup, she'll lose all her teeth and they will be replaced with adult teeth, just like people :) four and a half months is about that time when the incisors start to fall out, at 6 months you'll notice the canine's falling out.

Is it just me? or am I the only one that can see that their older dog has a complete set of permanent teeth,obviosly having had to have lost the first set a long time ago, but where do they go? I mean, I havent fround one of daisys missing teeth, our Bichon. You would think if the vacuume cleaner picked one up, it would make a loud noise...... Strange:confused:

they usually swallow them.

They usually do swallow them. However, a couple of times I thought Georgie picked something up off the floor and was chewing it, so I open his mouth to get it and out comes a baby tooth!!! It's okay though I got my niece to get some aluminum foil and we are going to add that to his scrap book:D

Oh! ok... I feel dumn now:D I never would have thought they would have swallowed their teeth lol! Oh well, I guess ya learn something new every day!

Trust me you are not dumb. I am the idiot that is prying Georgies mouth open thinking he is eating something he is not suppose too, and out comes a tooth:eek:
