Confessions of a New Yorkie Baby
 

I love chasing my bigger brother Yoda around. He barks and growls at me once in a while, but it's sooooo much fun to follow him nonstop. I'll never get tired of that. He did figure out how to get rid of me though, by jumping up onto the couch. I'm too little to jump that high, but one day, I'll teach him! I did learn how to jump off the couch though and scare my Mommy & Daddy.

It's fun to go up and down stairs. I use all of my hops ability and just give it a go when I go up them. I want to go up and down them like my bigger brother Yoda, he does it so fast! Maybe one day...

I like to eat. Mommy feeds me three times a day! Raw chicken necks are my favorite thing in the whole wide world! They are so yummy, I could eat them all day long!

I get a LOT of attention! Whereever I go, I always hear, "Oh, look it's a cute puppy" or "Aww, how cute!". Does that mean they like me or something?

It's fun to go outside. It's a lot easier for me to go pee pee outside, since Mommy & Daddy never get upset no matter where I pee when I am outside. Running in the grass with my big brother is fun, I wish I could keep up, my brother Yoda runs way too fast. I just hop on along, but I can never keep up with him. I'll keep trying, though! :D

My Mommy and Daddy call me a daredevil. What does that mean? Whereever they put me up high or on something, I always go to the edge and look down. I'm sure that I can jump down. So sometimes I do, though they catch me before I can do it. What's a daredevil?

I love to be held. My Mommy & Daddy and all four of my grandparents just hold me all the time! Sometimes they hold me so long I wiggle and wiggle to get down, because I need to pee!

I'm a sucker for toes and fingers. My teeth are always itchy, so whenever I see toes and fingers, in my mouth they go! I like to gnaw at them, they are so tasty! Mommy & Daddy say "No!" a lot when I bite fingers and toes though, I wonder why? Do they know how good fingers and toes taste?

Do you Yorkie babies have any confessions of your own?

Winky, you sound like my kind of guy! I wish I had a little brother, I would play and play with you. Dumb old Rusty is getting too old. He doesn't like to play much. I don't have any secrets, but I do still go potty in the house. It is just so much easier than bothering mommy and daddy. Then, they have to get the leash and they their shoes. But, they don't act like I'm trying to do them a favor, so what is up with that???? Glad you are liking your new family. Need more pictures. (Of your face this time) Tucker

You're so lucky to have Yoda as your big brother! I've been wanting a little sibling to play with too! Mom tells me, "Soon, very soon." Soon is too long to wait!

Daredevil? I don't know what that means either but Mom says I'm fearless when I do the same thing you do. Maybe you're fearless too? Cool!!

If we were closer, I'd love to come and play with you! Hopefully someday we will!

Oh Winky, no wonder Yoda is jeawous of you....you are a sweetheart. Keep practicing your hopper....dat's what I do...hop, hop, hop on two wegs...den one day....viola on de couch! I still miss sometimes...dat's when I hop, hop, hop til someone picks me up. ;)

Winky, I'm so glad you are having fun with your brother. I've been waiting on a brother for a while, but mommy keeps saying that daddy has to marry her first, then we can get a bigger house so I can have my brother. Sounds like you are doing all the right puppy things then thats when people say "what a cute puppy". I am a daredevil too, thats what my mommy says anyway. I'm not afraid of nothin. And don't worry about your big brother getting on that high couch, you will be there with him before you know it. I don't have any secrets, other than, lately I've been picking at my mommy's dinning room chairs. You know how they have that cottony stuff below the seat? MAN I LOVE THAT STUFF. Try it.

Winky, man let me tell you. I love fingers and toes also...my mommy says NO when I try to eat her's also:D ....But I say....if she didn't want me to taste them why put purple stuff on her toes. I like them so much:D .

Hi Winky! Finawy got the puter away from Mommy! Mommy keeps telwing me I need a baby bruver. I finks I already got 2 bruvers. Old, old Kirby, and the kitty (tee hee, he's wots of fun to chase!). You seem like you'd be a nice bruver tho. Maybe she nose what she's tawking about!

I still love to bite, anything and everything! My big brother Yoda doesn't like it so much when I nip his legs though. I wonder why???

Sometimes I eat my own poo. My Mommy and Daddy think it's so gross and they put me in my bin when I do that. I think it's so yummy!

I love going for walks, Mommy and Daddy keep my leash very short, I like getting right next to my big brother Yoda, but usually I just follow behind him. It's fun! My brother always stops at like every telephone pole and pees on it. I don't do that, but maybe I should?

I love to run! It's so much fun chasing Yoda. I can even tackle him sometimes and make my brother roll over. I'm still not as fast as him, but I think I'm getting there! One time, I held onto his tail with my mouth and just followed him. It was great!

I'm a hot-blooded boy. I like to lay on the cool kitchen vinyl floor. My brother almost always lays on pillows or on comforters... Cool is where it's at!

I'm getting really good going up and down steps. I'm REALLY fast going up steps, but one time while going down a bit too fast on carpeted steps, I tumbled two steps. It really scared me, so now I go down steps a bit slower than before.

I growl to no end when someone gets near my food, be it Yoda, Mommy, or Daddy! Mine, mine, mine!!!

I :love: fingers and toes too, but what's with mommy and daddy always saying no? I love Blue that you were sleeping on. I wish my mommy would get me one like that.

Oh I have to go... mommy just left the room and I need to follow her.

Winky...you are just too cute for words! Sounds as if you are doing a good job of keeping your famiy entertained! Before you know it, you'll be able to do stairs and run as fast as Yoda! You two will have so much fun!!!

You are a very cute boy. I am a little older than you, 10 months - but you could be my boyfriend. Wouldn't that be neat?

Your brother is funny. I have a way older sister who is a giant dog. When I first came to rule this house, she used to get away from me by jumping onto the couch. But I showed her, I can get there now, too! Pretty soon, you'll be able to go everywhere Yoda does. Shenna doesn't like it when I nip at her legs either, I don't get it cause its just so fun!

You are a very brave dog. I like to run up stairs, but not down cause I fell once and I'm still scared. My parents tell me I'm a daredevil, too. I'm not sure what that means, but they also tell me I'm like a flying squirrel. All I know is it is a blast to take flying leaps off from the couch and bed.

I love to nibble fingers and toes, too. But lately, I really like my furry toys with sqeakers. I think I might be liking them more than fingers and toes. I used to eat my own poo when I was a little younger, but I finally figured out that mommy would always make my brush my teeth afterwards and I don't like brushing my teeth!

I really think we would make a good pair. You are hot-blooded, and I am cold-blooded. You like to lay where things are nice and cold and I'm always looking for the sun spots that are warm to lay in.

I like to eat too. I think I've decided that I only want to eat what mommy and daddy eat, though. I used to really like my dry kibble and doggie treats, but not so much anymore. Have you tried papaya and mango - they are my favorites!!

Anyhow, do you like me? Check ____yes or ____no?

Just a little note to tell you how adorable you are! I know you've chosen a wonderful family! Now is a perfect time to milk your cuteness for all its worth! See Below:



1. They love it when you tilt your head, and look at them......thats good for extra treaters...

2. If you get tired of the Crate at night,whimper...whimper...whimper...thats the key....LOTS of whimpering. ....that always gets them....( once they put you in bed with them, just be sure to reward them with kisses and happy tails for reinforcement)

3. Suck up to Yoda....you're gonna need him....

4. A good trick is to run and bounce in circles a lot....they find it endlessly amusing. Besides, its a good distraction from the "Piddle" spot on mama's Heirloom rug.

Aww, thanks Sissy! That's awful sweet! I think we can be great friends causing lots of fun (I think my Mom & Dad call it "trouble")! I don't know what a girlfriend is right now, but I'm sure we can be friends and hang out and stuff. Taking flying leaps off the couch is great fun and it sure gives my Mom & Dad heart attacks! I'm sorry to hear you fell down the stairs too! I thought I was the only one doing that!
