hes adorable!!!!!! |
Perfect Size! It is refreshing to read about the larger Yorkie. Our 2yr old is AKC and 16lbs. She was the odd ball in the liter, thank goodness! We have the best of both worlds, an 8lb 11 yr old Yorkie and a 2 yr old, hefty! I am asked wherever I go with both Yorkies, what breed is the large one? ha A while back I read where one YT member said she tells folks her larger Yorkie is a Clydesdale Yorkie... I have borrowed that many times and it works! The more to love... |

I go through the same thing with my Mia. She's almost 2 and weighs 16 pounds. We love every ounce on that little chubby body. I have to continually tell people that Yorkies come in bigger sizes too. Kobe, on the other hand, weighs 10 pounds. |
Molly is 8# 7oz, and I'm glad. She has floppy ears too. Your "little guy" is sooo.......... cute!!!:Puppy2: |
My baby is 12 weeks and weighs 7lbs already so I know he is going to be a big boy. And everyone thinks that he is the cutest thing ever. Kudos to the TEAPOT YORKIES!!!!! |
I have read back in the day yorkshire terriers were medium size dogs...not so small. WE love them all~~~ |

Oh, what a cuties he is. I would love a big Yorkie! Watch out - one this size may take over the world!!! |
Mutant Yorkie. World's largest yorkie? I just adopted a 2.5 year old Yorkie who weighs 18+ lbs. Not a record but love this sturdy little guy. maplans |
I am right there with you when it comes to my Romeo. He's 15 1/2 lbs and I always get the usual "is he purebred?". Romeo too is AKC registered. Like other parents with "large" Yorkies I am beginning to believe that large is normal. |
He is awesome. Looks like a happy little boy. Great name. |

Bahahaha! I love that! "Stubby McWigglesworth". Cute! |
I see the title to this post and had to read it. He's adorable btw. :) |
mutant Mickey.. :animal-paI also have a big boy..Mickey is 8 months old and is 14lbs and does have beautiful floppy ears. He came from a well know Yorkie breeder but many who see his size insist he can't be a Yorkie..he sure is!! I just love his size but he is just so full of energy I have to take time out to have a little rest. He looks so much like Chewy it is unreal. Yorkies are precious whether tiny babies or big boys like my Mickey |
