silky or cotton question??? Bo is starting to get very silky on his legs, head, and stomach....is this a good indication that his hair will be silky....he is almost 5 months now....and his hair never matts.....i brush him in the mornings and thats it and i dont think i have ever really brushed a knot out of his hair...he will sometimes look stragly if he is not brushed but never matts....and his hair is not at all dull looking....what does all this mean as far as coat texture....he is my first yorkie so i am not really sure what to look for....thanks for any input |
sounds like Bo has a silk coat to me, although I'm no expert. My groomer was the one who told me my Bentley has a silk coat and he was probably about 6 months old at the time. He's 2 years old now. |
thats what i was thinking also...and was hopeing for also...i would love him either way. thanks for the input |
What's the difference between silky and cottony? Is silky like very soft and fine and cottony more woolly and coarse? My pup's hair doesn't matt either. I only bush his hair after washing him. |
Sounds like a silky coat to me though still pretty young. Both coats can be beautiful! |
thats what i am confused about to i really dont know the differance to be honest with you |
