Looking for Hair Barrettes Anyone know a good website for hair barrettes? I dont want bows attached to rubberbands, I want small barrettes or hair clips that i can use on my dog. And is there an easy way to do the topknot? Any special gadgette? |
I get my hair barettes for Tia from Target or Walmart - they have really tiny ones in all different sizes and shapes and colors - some are glittery too ;) |
The one's you get Tia, from walmart or target, are they made for doggies? or are you using the infant ones? because i still haven't found any in my area! |
Yes, they are the ones for kids or infants. I get them in both the hair section and the baby section. My daughter wears these too when I put her hair in a french braid :) All my girls share accessories! |
:aimeeyork I live in Wales and can't get the very small ones but a very good friend of mine from Texas kindly sent me Barbie ones (!) and they are ideal for my 9 month old. Pretty too! Don't know where she got them but some of you may? Ana xx |
I've seen different Barbie ones at drug stores (mine are CVS and RiteAid). I've gotten a couple sets of bows there but my favorite ones came from Target. I recommend looking each time you go into a drug store, Wal-mart, Target, etc. because they get new ones in every once in a while. |
I found very cute infant hair bows and clips at our dollar store called the Dollar Tree -- it is a chain here in Texas, but don't know if it is elsewhere. They are in the hair section and they come on a card with 2 on it for $1.00. Anyway, they are the ones with the velcro, and they seem to work very well for my little girl. She is just a baby still (11 weeks), so they are just right for the little amount of hair she has! |
I got my Pet Edge order yesterday with a catalog. They have some cute bows. Makes me want to get a girl. Petedge.com |
Here is a site that gives pictures of how to put in a topknot. You have to scroll down a bit. http://www.shooterdog.com/alexfaq3.htm |
