advice on getting a second yorkie! Hey guys- its been a while since I have loged on! I missed YT ;) Anyway my boyfriend and I have been pondering the idea of getting a second yorkie for about a year now but we want to be sure before we do, when is it too late as far as if she will get along with another yorkie in the house? We are content with Luna but sometimes we feel she needs a playmate, even though she gets tons of attention. Luna is really shy when it comes to other dogs, but I have a feeling she will open up. Do you guys feel that having a companion is better for them??? thanks Lunas Mom |
I think another yorkie ,is a good idea.We got Lottie when Alfie was about 18 months old and they have got on great. They have such good fun playing together, they always have company and you get twice as much love!! |
i say go for it! the more the merrier! :aimeeyork :aimeeyork |
thank you guys!!!!!!! |
I have two and really enjoy it. They play together and keep each other company. One would be lost without the other one. Everything costs more with two but I am sure you have already considered that. I say get another one. Two yorkies are so much fun. |
Yes, yes, yes!! Having two is great. We got Spike when Gracie was 2 and at first she wasn't sure about him. It took maybe a week before they were best friends. It's great because they realy keep each other entertained. |
Two is double the trouble, but you get double the fun in return  Ok seriously, it's definatly worth getting another yorkie to join your family, they keep each other company, which yorkies need ... it's so much fun to watch them play, mine do everything together. |
I feel relieved knowing that you didn't get your second yorkie until 2 years..there is still hope then :) In my heart I know she would love a sister to play with. Thanks again guys!!!!! double love yes!!!! |
