pedigree This is a difficult question to answer. Rules and regulations are different from country to country. I think you are missing some important part of the pedigree.. It is best to do what you are doing and talk withthe club..they will tell you what you need and where to obtain the documents. Best wishes |
:wavey: Here we have the club AKC where we can order pedigree papers. I'm really not sure of the way they do it in Europe. When you go visit your club, just ask, all of us were new at one point.:) I'm sure they will be happy to help you! Good Luck!:) :) :) |
A pedigree is a list of the dogs ancestors. Parents, grand parents great grand parents. If you are not planning to show or breed the dog, it is not important to have a pedigree. |
i am feeling so sad,i just arrived home after a long discussion with local club. they denied my yorki to register in club,i do agree that his parents are not registered, but what should i do? i want my pup to participate in shows, actually i love yorki alot and my boyfriend know this and with love he have gave me yorki gift, he is out of this stuff and so he have just try to get some pup which can fix in his budget[so without doccument],i really appreciate his love for me but now what should i do? any suggestion:mad: |

It is also expected here in Canada if you are breeder in good standing with the Canadian Kennel Club under their code of ethics that a pedigree is also provided to the new owner even if bought for pet. The breed club of which I am a member also expects their members to provide a pedigree as well as registration papers. It doesn't necessarily have to be an official pedigree from the Canadian Kennel Club although I would provide that if I sold one for show purposes. A hand written pedigree that I provide as true when sold for pet goes with the puppy to the new owner. |
