Yorkie puppy and older yorkie We eventually want to rescue an older yorkie this summer (no older than 7) and we've found a few possiblities that we really like (retired breeders from the breeders themselves). The only problem is that when we plan to get one my yorkie puppy, Diva, will only be about 5-6 months old. Is that too young to put with a 3-7y/o yorkie? The older yorkie wouldn't have to really play with her, but I'd like the older one to tolerate Diva. Should I take Diva to meet the other possible yorkie we might adopt first? I'm confused as to how to do that.. Any suggestions? |
Take Diva with you to go and meet the older yorkie. When you bring the older yorkie home, bring both of them together in the house. Ask the breeder where you are getting the older one from, how he/she is with younger dogs etc... Good luck  |
