Stupid question i'm sure but.... My boyfriend has been away since early friday morning (8am), since he has been gone Smudger has been really quiet, it's now 2pm sunday here and he's not eaten for 2 days Is it possible for him to be missing him or am I just being daft, he's not his usual happy self?? :( |
I am sure he is missing him. If my Husband were gone Chachi would miss him badly. |

I am breaking the "no human food" rule and making him a few sausages to see if he will eat them he's not touched the food in his bowl allll day :( |
Aww poor Smudger, he misses his daddy. I'm convinced that dogs miss their human parents when they're not around - my Frodo does the same thing when he's with anyone but me. Just spend some time with him, give him lots of smooches, and hopefully he'll perk up after a couple of days. Frodo sends his love! |
Diesel has done that before. I had to take my daughter to the beach for a cheerleading competition. My husband stayed home to take care of the dogs. We have a zoo! LOL Anyway Diesel refused to eat and was throwing up. I left on a Friday and made sure he ate good before I left. I didn't get home till Sunday afternoon. When he saw me he peed all over the place. I came in fixed him something to eat and he tore into it! So yes I believe they do get depressed. Hope you little one feels better soon. Michelle |
Thanks everyone he's still very quiet I'm just gonna take him for a long walk now I'm sure that will cheer him up. I'm supposed to be going out later with my mate but I might not. We will probably stay in instead, I feel bad leaving him alone :) |
