Kaymo -- Well - it certainly is a whole different and much sadder story when no one comes to a little boy's party. I'll bet he was really disappointed. That is truly sad.... To be honest - pet parties are for the people - not the pets. I think most pets would just as soon skip the whole thing. I had a party for my cat and her kittens. We were all getting back together after a month's separation. They had all gone to members of my family - so it was really just another excuse for a family get together. I know this was the dumbest idea in the world - and my family (one a psychologist - another a doctor) was ready to commit me for even thinking of it. They were using words like "neurotic," "she needs to get a life," "she needs grandchildren," and "she's losing it." Then, needless to say, none of the cats remembered each other and all we did all afternoon was chase wild cats around....terribly unhappy, wild cats. I have still never lived this "dumb idea" down. The only get togethers I have any more for my pets are -- "Come on over and let's take our dogs for a walk in the park," or "Come on over for a visit and bring your dog so that our dogs can play together while we visit." These things usually work out well. However - I am sorry that no one showed up for your party....that is a bummer. Not nice at all! Carol Jean |
aww that is NO fun! i'm so sorry! |
It's certainly got to be harder for a little boy! :( Tucker could've cared less if anyone came lol. he was perfectly happy running around with the chiuauas that were there. It was rather dissapointing........I was looking forward to meeting everyone and the dogs. =/ |
Megan -- I know you were disappointed.. And, that's why it's not nice for people "not to show." Anyway - Tucker had fun!!!! Carol Jean |
Oh, stop your WHINING! Tucker is a legend on YT! He don't want a bunch of stinking strangers trampling around his crib. In fact, he sent me an e-mail telling me NOT to come. I had purchased my ticket, and he said, "It rains here all the time. I don't want my guests getting wet!" But seriously, Tucker, you are loved from coast to coast. So is your mom/sister/teenager-who-sometimes-feeds-you. And grandma too! So hang in there, and we all PROMISE to show up for your second birthday. |
