One more book.... Marley & Me by John Grogan --- Current best seller Definitely the dog lover's book of the year. It's a funny, touching tribute to a 97-pound Lab who was as loyal and loving as he was disobedient......"the world's worst dog." This is a wonderful book that we dog owners can truly identify with. Sounds good, will try and get this one :D |
I bought this book and started reading it. I have a bit of ADD so I always end up flipping around. Read too much and ended up in tears. Anyone who loves dogs should read this one. :) |
I read it and it was sad but heartwarming. I passed on to a fellow YT to read. I just got the Tails of devotion Book, onec i am done if anyone wants to read it and then pass it on to another member I would be happy to do so. The book is 30.00 so at least alot of people could read it and not have to go buy it. |
That was a good book----just when you think you have the worst dog====now I'm about to read Cindi Adams book about her yorkies. |
I read Marley and me out loud with my husband... At times neither of us could read through our tears... it was a book that we won't soon forget! I passed it on to the guy who owns the eyeglass store in Petaluma, he has a golden retriever who's 14, in the twilight of his life and barely walks anymore.... I cried on my way out the door after giving it to him, knowing how much this book would touch him. |

Patti... Hubby and I had a Black Lab... Charlie... He was so a Marlie! It was such a hard book for us to read!!! It was a christmas present from his father to me... he knows that I read alot! Hubby still cant look at puppies at petsmart or the dog park, he bolts in the other direction!... it just kills him... He misses him soooooo much! |
I am not much of a reader but I think I will read this book. I just put a hold on our Library . . . . |
