advice for bath time Hello -- I am looking for some advice for bath time...my little guy is 10 weeks old and he has had to have two baths due to some potty issues and the wipes couldn't get it. We put him in the sink and try to be as fast as we can, he does okay, he stays put but when we take him out he is shaking so bad. I made sure the room was warm so he must have just been scared to death. We try and dry him as best we can with the towel to limit the dryer time. He tries to burry his little head under my arm while my daughter handles the dryer. We continually tell himhe is a good boy and try and give him kisses, but he looks so scared. Any advice on how to make him more comfortable or is it just a matter of he is going to have to get used to it? Do they get used to it? Thanks. |
I would recommend you put the towel in the dryer for a few minutes to warm it up! After Kloeys bath she shakes to, I dont know if any dog "likes" a bath, I know she really dont care for it, I give her a bath once a week, so she knows she has to have a bath, but afterwards I wrap her up in a couple warm towels and just hold and rock her till she stops shaking and then comb her out! Good Luck |

Love the warm towel idea, I'll have to give it a try! |
